That resistor splice would NOT take for the longest time, but after some finessing, I got the right side tail light to work as it should. Definitely happy.

I spoke too soon. The T-taps aren't getting a good connection. I'm going to merge the wires after work today.

I know. Hopefully it isn't too hard to change out.

I got my tail as a turn in today from DD. I am going to wait until I get the license plate bracket in this weekend before I install. Please

Going to install this today. The video makes it look easy but what about the resistor install? How do I install the resistor?

I just peeled back the carpet and can't figure out where the resistor goes or what the red plastic clips are for on the resistor. Are there step by step detailed instructions for connecting it in the sedan? Specifically what wures go where? And why the red plastic things are for?

Has anyone successfully done the plug and play on a g37 sedan????? Website says plug and play for coupe only. I sent a email to DD and I'm sure I'll hear back tomorrow but was just curious if y'all had any luck or just spliced it in

We fully intend to release a plug and play version of the kit for the G37 Sedan. The factory connectors are proving quite difficult to source.

As promised, we will post an update when more information becomes available

Thanks!

I've successfully had the Tail as Turns installed on my 10' sedan for a while now. It's a straight forward install, keep in mind you need to purchase the Tail as Turn module as well as resistors to fix the hyper blinking. I can't stress enough that you need to make sure all the connections are good. I had a few issues and traded emails back and forth with DD, whom are excellent to deal with, and got it working after triple checking all connections.

Merging the wires has been working great. It ended up being easier to do than the T-taps, so that's my recommendation to those doing the DIY.

Any instructions on how to connect the resistors? I am not sure what the red plastic things are that even come with them.

This^^

Mines in the mail, so not real sure what to do with resistors. In the instructional video it doesn't look like the resistors are separate? Are they??? I wish they had the plug and play for the sedan........(hint hint)

You "hint hint"ing isn't going to help them source the connectors any sooner. As helpful as Nick is on the boards, you should know that we will know they have them virtually as soon as they have them.

Be patient or do the DIY.

I would skip the red plastic splices and merge the wires.

Scroll down and look at the picture with the Facebook like thumbs up to see a picture of what i'm talking about: How To Install 50W 6-Ohm Load Resistor For LED Turn Signal Lights

Use your wire stripper to expose the copper wire on the green turn signal wire and the green w/yellow stripe wire. Then, strip both resistor wires so you have a half-inch or so exposed on each, then wrap the ends around the exposed wire on the green and green w/yellow stripe wires. It doesn't matter which side of the resistor you connect to the green and green w/yellow stripes.

Then test your brake lights and if the connection is good, wrap electrical tape around the merge you just did and you're good to go.

Nice thanks. That seems fairly simple. Unfortunately I am leaving out of town tomorrow, but fortunately I am leaving for my parents who have a nice 4 car garage and only two cars. That is much better than driving this to the park when I want to work on the trunk because I don't want the neighborhood thieves seeing my subs in the trunk. Can't wait to get this on.
