FWIW, my Rove R2-4K Pro included a long USB-A to USB-C cable that I ran above the headliner and behind the A-pillar to a
12V to 5V USB converter 12V to 5V USB converter
powered by a
low profile mini fuse tap low profile mini fuse tap
in the pinned but unoccupied socket above the "CIGAR" fuse which conveniently is switched with ACC as pointed out by @G37sGraphite below. As posted later in that thread, the tap must be installed "backwards" due to limited clearance so both fuses are needed to complete the circuit (e.g.- 7.5A for the bridge and 5A for the device).

I used a connector from Amazon and used the power mirror. Very stealth.

I'm glad that approach worked for you, as it is quite slick. I considered the Dongar Technologies 10-Pin Type A Dash Cam Power Adapter but was discouraged by the
reviews reviews
