Hey guy's, i really need some help with this. I attempted to install the Grom BT3 a couple of days ago, and now the car is freaking out. I tapped into the 12v constant wire in the harness on the back of the radio as instructions stated, but now it keeps blowing the 10a elect parts (ign) fuse everytime i push the start button to on position. The airbag light is blinking, gauges,info display,radio,climate control dont work, and every other light on dash is on solid. I also removed the Grom and wrapped the wire i tapped into with electrical tape in case it was shorting out on something. I dont know what to do at this point, so i would appreciate if someone could chime in please?!

 

Make 100% sure the wire is not touching anything else

I would disconnect the battery for a few hours and see if it resets the ECU

 

Thank's for the reply Blazeplacid, i ended up taking it to an auto shop and they did there research with the wiring schematics of my car, and it turned out that i had a cable in the wrong port on the back of the radio. I felt a little stupid to find out it was something that simple but they installed the Bluetooth module and spent two hours of there time on it, so i live and learn $120 later!
