You do the same what? You stream music? Cause that is my primary motive for wanting an input. I don't care one bit about keeping a library of music. If I did want my own library of music the built-in media jukebox has over 300 hrs of storage.

But ALL I want is to stream my music. Sheesh. In this regard my 08 3.5 SL Altima is FAR superior. It simply works.

Unfortunately they failed to provide compatible systems with the 2012 Infinity m37x.

There is a solution. I'm just REALLY annoyed I'm going to have to manufacture a PCB with a preamp and wire into the XM input on a car that was over $50k new. Its nuts!

Just add a iphone on to your phone account and use it for streaming music only and then talk on your note.

True, If it was me. I'd just get rid of the note and get a 6+ or wait a couple months and see what apple puts out next. It's not that bad compared to android and you might even get used to it. It's just a phone anyways that works with your car. Not the end of the world!

Digging up an old thread here but was searching the same issue. Kyferez, what did you end up doing?

I'm taking my car in next week to a local installer to have an aux input installed. I couldn't find any other solution that would give the same audio quality for an Android user. My G37 is a 2012 and I agree with you that an aux input should definitely have been a standard feature by that time. However, I did know that before I bought the car and have planned on getting the input installed.

I forgot about it because I don't drive it. I drive my 08 Altima that DOES have an Aux port. I certainly didn't buy any iDung like iFanboi's here were pushing.

My Infiniti is actually the m37x. Similar car but lots more room and with AWD. My next car will be the m56x or Q70 with AWD and 5.6L engine, and I'll replace the entire stereo system with a much better fully amplified system if it's missing a properly working Bluetooth or Aux input.

One of the only times I'm glad to have an earlier second gen sedan instead is when I can say I have RCA ports which can be easily converted to aux.
