Bluetooth sync with Blackberry Storm 9530
Well.. I have a Blackberry, and I can sync the phone just fine, and I can make calls and dial and stuff... but for some reason whenever I try to sync/upload my phonebook/contacts from my phone to my car, the connection is terminated and the car does not download the contacts.
Not sure what to do. Its not a super big deal, since I can always just dial from my phone and let the bluetooth do its thing, but I would like to dial a contact from the car.
thanks for any help

As a fellow Storm user, I feel your pain. Unfortunately, our phones/cars do not support this feature. I've had to add my most dialed contacts through the car manually. It's really a PITA.

Ummm sorry to break it to you gmahn, I had a Storm before my Tour and I downloaded my phonebook flawlessly to my car multiple times.
You actually have to send the phonebook from the phone, not use the feature from the nav. Once the phone's connected to your bluetooth, you can go into your bluetooth options and there's an option to send contacts via bluetooth.
I don't remember the exact steps right now cuz I'm not in my car..but if you're still lost I'll re-do it myself to give you a step by step

When I tried doing it from the car, it didn't work.
But on my Storm, i went to the Bluetooth display, clicked on the "my car" connection(bluetooth connection with my G37), and I clicked transfer contacts.. and the car started to download them.
only thing is, the contacts are stored in the option called Call(Downloaded), they are not stored in the normal Phonebook in the car.

I love the Tour..I gave up the storm so easily cuz I started getting OS issues and my WHOLEE screen got all F-ed up..and i couldn't take it; i'm nowhere near as quick typing on the storm as i am on a qwerty.
glad you figured it out!

I’ve tried completely deleting the phone from the car then re-pairing and still no luck. Also, not running any crazy beta firmware on the Storm.
Of course Infiniti won't help since their website says this feature is not supported on the Storm.
Any ideas??

Ya, that’s what I’ve been doing… on the phone go to options, Bluetooth, select “Bluetooth Handsfree” and then “transfer contacts.” The phone says transferring contacts for about a ¼ second and then gives an error message something like “transfer failed, please consult the manual for your Bluetooth device”

hmm.. Well I did have to try it a couple of times.
Here is what I would suggest. When you are transfering contacts I would say go to the Settings in your car, go to phone settings... try to do it from the car(it won't work we know), but then right after, try transfering from your phone.
sorry if what I'm saying is confusing...
I don't know what else to say, it worked for me...
