I've noticed today, the site is requiring me to login repeatedly.

I usually login upon first entering the site - that works fine. However, when I click a link to say the "G37 Coupe" area, it no longer shows me as logged in. I am asked to login before starting/replying to a thread. When I leave that page I'm no longer logged in.

I went to the USER CP (logged in as asked). Upon hitting refresh, I'm told I have to be a member to view that page and I'm forced to login, once again.

Full disclosure: I usually use the Facebook integration to login. Today, I deactivated my Facebook account so that no longer works. I had to say I lost my password for 'plugn4ply' and login using the temp password hoping to disassociate my Facebook account and my alias here on MyG37. The problem seems to have started after this process.

 

As another example: I was asked to login before creating this thread (where the text window appears). I was asked to login again when I hit the Submit Post button. Basically twice for the same action.

 

Moreoever, I've tried multiple browsers (IE, Chrome, FF) and devices (PC, Mac, iPad).

This is constantly happening to me too. I also joined the forums using the FB registration. Also the "Log In:Using FB" button does not work. Even when I right click to open tab it doesn't even show it being a link, but an image instead. Even when I manually enter my user name/pw and click on "remember me" any time I navigate to another page of the forums or hit refresh I have to re-log in. Nor will it allow me to post anything without logging in again.

It's really sad, because it makes it so difficult to enjoy the forums.

 

Try checking the "Remember me"
