6-MT G37 Anywhere?
Is there any dealership that has a 6-mt coupe (non-IPL)? No one here in MA has one and also most of CT. My lease is coming to an end and the dealerships are recommending ordering one from Japan rather than waiting to see what their inventory has in the end, which seems to be filled with IPL's and Coupe xS's. The other issue is if I do order one, ordering money is non-refundable and we wont talk numbers until the car actually gets here, which I dont get.
I have a fully loaded coupe, every possible option the coupes came with so I really want my next coupe to be nothing less than what I have at the moment. What is the best way to go about this? Order and wait and see?

Just bought my 2011 G37S convertible (6MT) here in NY last week. They had another 6MT convertible on the lot and a few 6MT coupes. Give Legacy Infiniti a call, ask for Russell; great guy. I know NY is far from MA, but he gave me a price that was $50/month less than the competition without even haggling with him and I called every dealer in NY, NJ, PA, and CT. Also, I'm sure he can work with your nearest Infiniti dealer to transport the car over to them if you don't wanna come to NY for a road-trip. Best of luck with the search
In your part of the country, order and get the exact car with the exact options you want. In my area they are probably a lot more common as the X isn't a big seller here. Where yo live I guess people need it for dealing with winter.
I only put down a $500 deposit on my car when I ordered it at the G37 launch in '07. It's refundable, they can't make you buy the car if you change your mind. As far as not talking numbers until it arrives, that's BS as well. I worked out my deal in advance at the time I ordered the car.
Perhaps you should try a different dealership if there's one available, it doesn't sound like the one you talked to is shooting completely straight with you.

Keep in mind that traveling a bit to get a vehicle a lot of times can save you a bunch of money. There will always be dealerships out there that want your business. I traveled 700+ miles for my last Jeep but saved 6k by doing so. I could of had it shipped to me for $500.00 but decided to go get it and drive it back.

just heard back from my local dealer, they said $5000 non-refundable to order a car, they will add that money to the lease, and the deal will happen upon delivery depending which programs are running...Id figure at least $1000 but $5K? dayem, not happening..
Ask for Russell when you call Legacy. Tell him you got his name from Paul who bought the convertible last week. Awesome guy, didn't even have to bargain and he gave me a better price than any other dealer around.
