So I guess it's time for my first oil change ~ 4000miles
I got the car at Peninsula Infiniti.
Just called the dealer and they quoted $89.95 for oil change. Seems a bit much. What do you guys do? Is there a recommendation for another dealer/service? Isn't the first oilchange free?

 

Thats way too expensive. Niello carges $48. Shop around.

 

Dealer gave me my first oil change free of charge.

 

Serramonte charges $40 and oakland charges I think the same.

 

OK then. Screw Peninsula Infiniti. No more $ for them.

the recommended mileage for the first oil change is 3750, but a lot of people do it a lot earlier than that..

i personally go to frontier infiniti.. i know some people have had complaints there, but i've never had a problem there.. in regards to warranty work, they never even thought twice of doing the work because of any of my mods.. i believe the oil change at frontier was about 40, but i'm not too sure..

 

Did my 1st oil change at 1200 miles. The 2nd and 1st scheduled oil change at 3750 miles was free at Serramonte. The 3rd oil change was $36.81 at Serramonte.

 

sounds like I have to travel long distance everytime I want my car serviced. Damn

The first time I asked how much an oil change was at Frontier Infiniti, they said $90 too. But the real price is $50. Just call up Penninsula again and ask how much for an oil change. If they say $90, laugh out loud and ask them what the real price is.

Or you can take it to a Nissan dealership.

 

You can also do it yourself, it's not that hard if you have jacks. $90 does seem very high and recommend taking the advice the others have left, shop around other Inifiniti or Nissan dealers. Good Luck.
