Favorite ramp
Thought I'd start a thread for fun... I recently took an entrance ramp at a relatively high speed and WOW 
, sliding sideways but still felt totally in control. Love driving stories so post your favorite and we'll all laugh at eachother...
Georgia Avenue entrance ramp to I-495 towards I-270
The ramp is tight and is wide enough for "errors" plus it has a nice merge distance onto 495. I have a client in Silver Spring so I get to mess with this one at least once a week on my way back to Clarksburg...
I was taking one of my friend's husband on a test ride after he took me out in his mod'ed '05 GTO (435RWHP) which would crush my G in the 1/4 but I wanted to show him I'd kill him in the turns. I started on the ramp at about 45 and pressed into it around the tighter turn and the rear started coming around, I countered on the front and she slid right around then grabbed again as I straightened out and shot onto 495. It was a Saturday, low traffic (as low as it gets on 495). What a rush! My friend's husband was totally blown away (I think he pissed himself). He said, DAMN EITHER YOU'RE A HELL OF A DRIVER OR IT'S THE CAR... I told him it was the car... My adrenaline was peakin' and my hands were shakin' I felt like I was back in a Porsche.
