Just installed this thing and fawk it's sick ... Couple of things though .... I had to remove my rear GT - Spec bracing . "bummer " Also , did any one notice that the y-pipe on the passenger side rattles against the frame and the driver side has more than enough clearance ??? I had to wrap it with header wrap so there will be no noise .. I also have the art pipes and boy it's loud when u get on it .. There is some rasp though .. Will post pics , video and review ..

Do you think the rasp is that bad? I have art pipes too and to me its not that bad at all. But then again everybody is different.

LOVE this exhaust! Been driving around with it now for a day... the sound is a-m-a-z-i-n-g. My car is new and entirely stock except for the E370 and it growls.

I'm having the same problem with the rattling as you. It seems to stop though after the car's been warmed up for a bit. Strange.

I removed the rear GTSpec rear brace as well (the straight one) to install the exhaust. However after installation I was able to put it back on without interference. I had to remove the cross brace of the 6 point rear brace but I'm pretty sure that I can modify the brace by cutting a slot in the middle so it doesn't rub the clamps on the mid pipes.

Your Y pipe situation sounds odd - the only place my Y is anywhere close to touching anything is on the transmission cross member on both sides. It probably within 1/2" to 3/4" or so but doesn't touch at all. This is with OEM cats.

It's a different kind of rasp ... It's really weird ... When u get on it with art pipes it's like almost a boom of rasp and goes away .. It's very tolerable ...

You may have lost a little low end torque with the new exhaust. Minor tune changes will get all that lost power back.

Weird, I'm not experiencing any rattling with the art pipes. As far as rasp, yes its not the annoying kind of rasp. I'm hoping once carbon build up accumulates it will tune it out which I don't or barely hear in the first place.

+1 what staples said. Pretty much with running any type of exhaust/tp combo will lose some "go" low end torque which I was discussing with BB. I expected this result that's why I'm getting the intake manifold then uprev tune.

I had Berk HFC with my Invidia before the change. I was going to go with ART pipes a little later so I removed the HFC to sell them and put stock cats back on for now. I feel a very noticeable positive difference in low end torque. Also it is plenty loud enough for me (don't you love the way it yells at you under heavy throttle from 4K-5K?) so I may skip the ART pipes altogether. I don't need it any louder and I can skip the rasp and low end loss.

I haven't driven my car much in the week that it's been installed but when I do I truly love it.
