Mini update .. The exhaust is starting to break in and the rasp is gone .. It's also starting to quite down a bit .. Can't wait to see what this thins sounds like after a 1000 miles .. Also , it does hang low .. I'm going to raise the car up about 2 inches tonight. Have scraped a few times .. Other than that ..... It's awesome !!!

That sounds great

I believe you can adjust the mid pipes so its higher, this is known as a high exhaust usually. Check your center resonator is the right way up

it has started to quiet down a bit and the rasp, even with berk test pipes (non resonated), the rasp has lessened. I have the same issue someone else indicated where their passenger side Y-pipe hits the tranny.

I was able to raise the rear section up by rotating the mid-pipes, and it came up about 2-3 inches. When the FI RHFCs come in, I'll be getting some header wrap and wrapping the right side of the Y-pipe

Logic tells me that the logo should be facing downward were it can be seen so that's how I mounted it. However I'd have also presumed that the stamped Motordyne Engineering logo on the Helmholtz canisters should be right side up on both sides but that's not the case. The resonator is symmetrical with the exception of the inlet flange being slightly angled up or down a few degrees dependent on which side is mounted facing up or down. I believe this is to position the mid pipes in a slightly upward direction of exit rather than parallel to the ground. I believe (can't remember) that this is achieved with the logo facing downward.

I got an XL. Because I spoke directly to Tony and Mariela and I asked. I wanted XXL but it's the biggest they had. It works.
