Not sure why so many people are having trouble with height issues. I will take some detailed pics tomorrow of how my exhaust is hanging and where. The exhaust without art pipes installed is amazing, I havent installed my pipes yet because I am not sure I want to change the sound of it now. Probably will sell art pipes becuz I enjoy the sound of this exhaust so much but we will have to see. Very interested in numbers.
The ART pipes enhance the amazing, trust me, as far as sound is concerned, they basically give it a subtle deeper note, worth it IMO.
I had a play around with the joints to see what's possible after some of them didn't fit perfectly, we're just working against gravity, v-bands can pull a joint only so far. It'll still seal, but it won't be mated straight, they need holding straight, sometimes with force, so they're closer when the v-band clamps up

I've put more than 700 miles on my car since the art pipes and exhaust was installed. I gotta say the sound is definitely much better. Its still loud but sounds more refined to me in a way. Sounds like kingkong is snoring when you baby it but once you get on it.. the beast comes out.. LOL
explain your reasoning behind how this looks like an hks replica. first this is a y pipe to a canister muffler and then strait back to the tips. no mufflers on the axle back partion just the resonators

didnt realize about the y pipe but thanks get some for the explantion and does look like a hks from the back with thicker and bigger tips. but either way it looks dope. those tips look insane! And bb
if u want ill show u a pic of mine but im sure you seen an hks b4 and know how the back resembles one.(i mean the twin canisters part).. Congrats on the pipes looks buck!

I'm very familiar with what the HKS system looks like. I helped a friend install one. They both have Helmholtz canisters, yes. Other than that they're absolutely nothing alike at all in any way. Many other systems do as well and they're not HKS replicas either. That's like reasoning that because they're both made of stainless steel it's an HKS replica. Godspeed makes an HKS replica. Topspeed makes an HKS replica. Motordyne's system is it's own authentic part and totally quite unique in a number of ways from any other exhaust available.
Funny comments on the replica/HKS clone
I know mine isn't a G37, i'd be interested in seeing the routing, however, the same principles stand on the adjustment, methods for handling the v-bands and clearance.
