I had my G since November and the rattle didn't happen until last month. Just because it wasn't there at first, doesn't mean that it won't happen.

I had the dealership order the parts in order to fix the infamous rattle. Its been almost two weeks, so I was wondering what was taking so long to order the parts. I called them back, and it appears that the damn parts are on back order. So if you have this problem put in the order now, who knows how long it will take them to make/get more.

Hopefully I only have to replace mine once.

 

^ my exhaust was on backorder also.. finally got it fixed. no rattle yet but im sure it'll come back

 

No rattle on mine with the updated muffler. I don't think anyone will have to worry about the rattle once they go in for the TSB.

 

Just got my muffler replaced for the 3rd time, can I lemon this damn car??!?? I had the car for 5 months now.

 

no kidding... i've felt that way a number of times. I have no idea how many times I've had my car in the shop but it's way more than 10 in these ten months. I have all my yellow receipts from the dealer and the stack is very very thick

and i'm noticing all kinds of little quirks lately... like the sunroof auto-wind guard sticking and then popping open... and the volume randomly changing up and down for no apparent reason (not with speed), and the windows not shutting completely and the a/c making this weird struggling noise when it's on full speed......

sigh.. this was $50k??

 

All first year models are like this, I am 100% sure the damn 09 people won't have a single problem like we do.

The exhaust is so embarrasing, my sister thought it sounded like an 80's Diesel benz she had back inn the day...

 

mine rattles again.. now this is my 4th time changing it.. argh... not happy with it...

i start hearing this rattling when i turn my car on. guess another reason to bring this to the dealership with the clutch issues also.

my clutch clatters a lot at low speeds. embarrassing when i look for parking :/ but i assumed most Gs are like that

 

when you let out the clutch, there would be a noise. when you push the clutch in, there is no noise. i brought the car two times to the dealership and they told me its normal. i need to go there back again..

 

i think when i press it in it clanks once pretty loud. when i let go it echos that same clank multiple times

 

I am on my 3rd muffler and fully expect it to last less than a month based on the others.....

 

has anyone had probablems with "b" muffler?
