^^so far so good. I think its been like a couple months at least? But i also have cut down on my G driving by like 50%

 

I finally got that noise today but not as loud as yalls. Luckily tony's timing was so good that right when i notice the noise my exhaust came in!

 

Has anyone notice this... The raspy noise from the muffler got louder when I installed the HFC... Do you think the dealer will void my raspy noise muffler? Even though HFC has nothing do with muffler.

unless your brought the muffler to them before the hfc to prove it wasnt the hfc i highly doubt it they probably come up with some crap about the hfc made it happen.

 

guys i dont feel like reading threw 9 pages of post, i have the exhaust rattle how do they repair it? brand new exhaust?

 

did u get the "b" muffler from the dealer?

 

no, i never went in in regards to my exhaust..i believe it just started out of nowhere

 

^^ there is a TSB for the rattles. go get a new muffler for free.

Add me to the rattle list. It sounds a lot like the muffler is touching the heat shield slightly and only happens during the first few minutes after a cold start. What exactly is causing the rattle? Sloppy welds in the muffler case?

 

After I drived "spirited" throught city. When i stop at lights/stop signs. I can hear a rattle as I'm idling. Is this just the metal expanding or is this the infamous rattle?

 

well guys, i just sent mine in for a replacement as well. the rattle started about 2 weeks ago. i have 3400 miles on the odo. =(

16k and just got the rattle. Takin mine in soon.

 

My rattle started at about 2,000 miles. Had to wait 2 weeks for a new muffler replacement. All good now.
