Mobil-1

Back in the '70s when Mobil-1 synthetic came out and through the '80s the label stated to change the oil every 25k miles. That right 25,000 miles. Won't see that anymore as sales most like declined quite a bit. For a number of years I did just that however, I'd change the filter every two to three thousand miles and simply top-off the oil. Yet on another vehicle I used synthetic, changed the filter the same but, replaced the oil at 10k miles. Not sure how or why I got a way from that routine but, I suspect it is the cost of the synthetic oil jug and I'm not a fanatic about oil anymore since I can't seem to keep vehicle past pay off anymore.

Now, who can post the oil filter part number we need to use on the G37? I see it has a built-in pressure reducer and I'm not sure if other VQ filters do.

That ester oil is expensive... I went with Mobile 1 synthetic... good enough.
