Oil in spark plugs
Oil in spark plugs
I had oil in spark plugs a couple months ago I changed my valve cover gaskets and now my car has been running bad so I looked inside some of the spark plugs and now oil is in there once again but in 2 plugs now instead of the 1 before did I mess something up? Is there another things that can cause oil in spark plugs
I thought I did but the bolts looked loose so I tried tightening them and now One snapped off along with the spark plug tube bolt so both ends are stuck in there I tried drilling them out but I think I only made it worst this car gets on my nerves lol
this is funny as all hell. you are mad at the car for your own screw-up? i think you more than answered your own question when you asked if you messed something up after revealing that you broke the bolts/screws. if you don't know what you are doing pay someone to do it.

Rule number one of changing spark plugs.
Always use a magnetic Spark plug Socket.
This is right up on the level of people using jack stands to change their oil when a ramp will be a better option.
Point is the OP had an issue and then broke off a spark plug. We all have done it. But to the OP. You have a bigger issue. You have oil on the plugs. Its time to bring it to a specialist. If the gaskets were changed they don't seem like they were done properly. Its not your plugs. You will just have the same issue with new plugs. And please don't try to drill your broken plug out. Then you will have metal all over the tube. Just go buy a magnetic spark plug socket for ten bucks and you will get the plug out without issues.
