I suddenly feel very ill. However, I think if you grew up watching cartoons or playing video games with Ninjas that had very overdone (cartoon-like) styling, this might just appeal to you.

Yeah that is the Si. I think the styling is good, certainly more toned back compared to the Type R. I'm not a huge fan of the fake vents but there are many brands including our own that do that. I feel like that could be an easy fix anyway. Honestly I wasn't sold on them until I drove one, they are just extremely fun and go-karty, kind of like Rochester implied. Styling isn't something that will probably change in your minds, but perhaps the ride might.

I wouldn't mind owning one of these. They're practically perfect of what I would call a sports car. Even has a BMW M5's V10 under the hood. Too bad they fetch for around $250,000 USD out in Europe.

On paper the Civic Type R looks great.. but in my eyes, the looks of the car is not for me.

My short list of G37 Sport Sedan replacement is:
(1) 2012–2016 Porche Cayman S (981)
(2) 2019 Mustang GT

I LOVE the looks of the Cayman and LOVE the rumble of the V8!

My buddy has a Civic Type R (we met at a local meetup for S2000s). It’s definitely a nice car on paper and highly upgradable, but I’m not crazy about the looks. From what little I have driven it though it’s a fun, tossable car with good power potential. If I liked the styling a little more I wouldn’t mind owning one, but I have it in my head a Civic is a young person’s car..

Just give me a Genesis G70 (with twin turbo V6) WITH THE MANUAL OPTION and I'll buy it in a heartbeat. I swear it upon the old gods and the new.

They are planning to revamp the G70 in just the next year or two. Here is to hoping it is available the way you want. Highly unlikely, but we can dream, right?

Some big news about the new Subaru STI. Forbes claims that it will have "no less than 400 hp and 361 lb-ft. of torque" using a 2.4 L turbo boxer engine. I think this is very good news. No mention if the car will still have a 6MT available or use hybrid power. Keep in mind, Forbes also thinks the STI currently uses a 2.0 L engine and the WRX uses the 2.5 L so take this with a grain of salt as they got the engines mixed up. If these hp and lb-ft. numbers are right this will be a substantial and long overdue increase in power.

Yes..and, unfortunately, will probably be well over the $50k mark. Great that they are finally...considering (Subby fan base does not seem convinced on Reddit) improving the STI though.

Good to know. I guess we will have to wait and see if the revised pistons will prevent the failures.

Patiently waiting to see if GM makes any interesting changes to the Camaro for MY2021, would be nice to inherit some engine updates from the LT2 C8 because more power is always the answer!

Funny enough, the STI in that image has very similar lines to the new Polestar Precept concept.

Camaro is being killed 2023 due to poor sales it looks like. no seventh Gen at this time...

Anonymous sources...could be a ploy to get people to buy while they're still available but we'll see. Given how ugly the current gen is, could be true about the sales figures...I think I've only seen two on the road?

I hate the headlights and visibility on the car. Rear end looks good and it's actually a great driving car. But if I can't see out of it...I don't care about it.

My same thoughts about the Porsche Macan. Tried real hard to tell myself I should like it, but after test-driving the car, I just didn't.
