In all honestly, your not going to drive a 600+ HP CTS-V the same way you drive a G37S, there not even on the same planet. Since reliability testing does not take this into consideration, I tend to take reliability measures with a grain of salt. Hell, I got a quarter million miles out of a Mustang Cobra so FWIW, Ill take a bit in the reliability backside for the crazy a$$e'd grin I'd get every time I nail the go pedal in the CTS-V
Can't get a 2013 Mustang for $20k either, not even a V6. Sooooo.....
Apples to oranges.

I stand corrected. Cars.Com does list some '13/'14/'15 V6 Mustangs in the $20k~$15k price range with 34,000 or less. My first search didn't show them, I must have clicked some wrong thing.
About the same 0-60 as the G37, slightly slower in the quarter mile.
Not AWD, of course, and no navigation in any of the ones I saw listed. But still, the performance is similar.
Reliability is "average" as opposed to the "much better than average" for the '13 G37.

So, my 2013 G37x with 35k sedan with premium pkg and nav on it cost me $20k.... I don't think you can find a comparable CTS-V anywhere near that price. Or anywhere south of three or four times that price.

Two scenarios...
Get a newer Infiniti...Q70 5.6 or Q50 Red Sport. And fix up an old truck (95 Silverado)
Or maintain my G and buy a new truck (I still like the Silverados)
@4DRZ are you the same one from Nissanclub?
That Alfa Romeo Giulia is a nice looking car too. Looks like an Infiniti with a different front end IMO.
I've been a Nissan guy for a while. My parents still have their Stanza that they bought brand new in 91. I had a 91 Sentra in college and 2 years after graduation (6 years, 238k miles), 07 Altima 3.5SE for 8 years (186k miles before wrecked), wife had a 07 Maxima and now she has a 13 Pathfinder (momma mobile). I like them, and IMO, I haven't seen anything that gives me the entire package for the comparable price, so probably gonna stick with them. Sport Sedan and/or truck are my go tos.

If there's nothing wrong with the G I'd keep it and get a newer truck. I like the RS but i don't love it. Every time I step into my garage in the morning I look forward to firing the G up...Project truck is of no interest to me so take that for what you will. I'm more of a project car kinda guy.
I've never been much of a truck enthusiast anyways and if I ever got one it would be a beater to run back and forth for drywall or hauling/pickups. If it were me, I'd do that and do work to the G with the extra money.

The Alfa Romeo Gulia Quadrifoglio is definitely a looker
I agree with you on Nissans. My family had a few of them growing up and my wife and I have been through a number of them as well- zero issues and always fun to drive.
The more I drive (and spend on
) the G the less I can see myself getting rid of it. There's really two things I could see keeping me in it for like a decade.... Grom Audio making good on their screen mirroring infotainment device, and a decisive fix for the slurry 7AT

This is really all that's required for the G to be a "forever" car IMO.
