How about that recall with the fuel system? Perhaps you are having a problem with your fuel pump

Have any Infiniti shop run your vin or even easier, just put it into the NHTSA site: https://vinrcl.safercar.gov/vin/

Almost 164k, and this how I'm rolling;

That cut off revving issue return then all came to an end with no more power. Revving issue is due to a Gear 2 Incorrect ratio plus I need a new battery. 😥😥

What is your cut off revving issue? I had this problem with my car on a trip across the US where I would put the throttle down like 3/4 and the revs flew up but it wouldn’t accelerate. Only happened after like 15 hours of driving through windy roads and hills.

Well at around 3k RPM, it would go into a limp mode. This issue happen 3x within 4weeks, then I struck out. I couldn't find alot of info on this issue so I'm assuming its a rare issue to happen. A coworker who had a 1st Gen G35 had similar 2nd gear ratio error, a solenoid replacement fix that problem. I'm sure that tranny is totally different from the 7at.

I gave a 2009 Infiniti g37x 248,000 miles no leaks runs strong even @120mph.......Don't recommended that.. lol.

142k miles here. All fixes DIY except welding. Followed the factory service recommendations and nothing more.

Major fixes
new Steering rack
drivers side cat
cross member rusted - had it welded up. Stripped bolt holes too with all of the rust.

Minor Fixes:
Rear brake calipers x4.
RF wheel bearing

Needs:
Passenger cat
Shocks/struts
lower ball joint right front.
occasional o2 sensor code

Still runs like a champ. WOT every day. My enemy is rust. This car will rust out before it is dead. Chicago winters and salt are rough on cars. My son turns 16 in 2.5 years. Would be a sweet car for a 16 year old to drive - even at with a ton of miles so hoping to keep it going.

Not really a great car for a new driver unless he/she is very responsible. It's power is typically beyond a new driver's experience.
IMO of course.

Which makes it the perfect car for the experienced, irresponsible driver.

2013 - 140k miles and zero issues. Oil change every 4k miles, changed plugs at 100k, powerstop brakes and rotors, K&N air/oil filters, its been a great car.
Oh, my cats are making noise but will be changing those soon.
