I am with you there (although my TPMS light turns ON for the summer with the wheels I got from @4DRZ ) It is like the car is happy to be done with the winter tires. I take mine out to a deserted highway and scrub them in a little like NASCAR does before starting the race. It is like stretching the car out after a long winter and getting into something more grippy for the summer

There's this tight, circular off-ramp right down the street from me. I feel pretty comfortable leaning into it, because there's nothing but grass if it goes sideways. Granted, anything can happen when you genuinely loose control of the car, but I can pretend this location is OK. It's a small delusion.

Anyway, with snow tires on duckfeet, I can take this off-ramp around 30 mph before it starts to squeal. However, with wide performance tires on the Vossens, that same off-ramp can be had at 45 mph before the rubber squeaks.

It's a pretty noticeable difference. Also, there's less roll and more steering control... because of course there is, LOL. Comparing snow tires to performance tires is kind of lame, but there it is.

Installed fresh meat (Firehawk Indy 500) staggered setup and put on a 20mm spacer in the front. Let me know what you guys think!

I also sprayed some Griot's Speed Shine onto the waxed surface of the car.

Does anyone know if the trunk chrome trim gasket/seal is available separately? If not, have you reinstalled your chrome piece without, or with something else?

IIRC, (on the Coupe at least), the chrome piece only uses a thin, felt strip along the perimeter /edge of the chrome piece. There are also small, rubber washers where the bolts pass through the decklid.

Last time I replaced the chrome trim (on my 3rd now) I added small dabs of silicone around the holes in the decklid along with the rubber washers (they are paper thin) before bolting it down. In contrast, the grommet for the camera harness is pretty heavy duty.

Yep, the felt trim is what I was talking about. Was in tatters to start, and removed it all to have the chrome vinyl wrapped.

Gotta give it to Infiniti, I for one am happy not to have a mirror defroster button. I remember the confusion including mines if mirror did defrost.
For me I would never notice, all I would know is they were foggy then they weren't.

Think it kicks on with the rear window defroster.

First time driving it in a while. Cleans up nicely.

I measured the loudness from inside the car with windows rolled up, in my garage... of the engine when starting and when holding a rev to 4k.

I then took off the hoodliner and did the measurements again. No real difference.

I stood outside the car and remote started it. No real difference.

I drove around. No real difference.

Not sure why people claim it's louder. I put the hoodliner back on.

As far as the reason why the G has it but not the Z... Maybe Nissan found it was an improvement over the Z so they added it. Maybe they didn't test for loudness or they did but for some reason their results showed a difference.

I'm sure there's a (perhaps edge case) NVH reason for it. Otherwise they wouldn't have spent the money to design and install one.

Installed Conti DWS 06 Plus tires (225x55x17) on my G37 to replace some very worn Michelin Premiers. Compliant, non-noisy, grip, at least compared to well worn Premiers. I'm really liking this tire. The Pilot Sport A/S 3 would have been to harsh for my liking, and purportedly these new Pluses are a lot closer to the A/S 3's performance than the older non-Pluses. I'm not sure if I'll ever go back to touring tires.
