^ yeah just low priority compared to going fast ... we'll see when lol. I grew up with JDM style as a major influence and I respect there almost no F's given approach to cars so it's not high on my list. Maybe 2021 if we're lucky. Might have to mid life crisis and spend my money responsibly for once .

I think my widebody should be pretty tasteful for the wait at least.... the gate keepers here will be happy I think.

Just a tiny sneak peek of the work in progress of my crazy little project. Ended up making my own bezels. Starting on cruise control sensor plate and mesh support for the lower grille. Oh, I also rewired the fusebox a bit and made myself a switch to turn the headlights off (Canadian car, always on headlights), so now I can get started on installing the halos. A lot more work ahead ...

Didn't like how loose the Z1 intakes dangle so I made up some aluminum brackets. Used rivnuts to attach them to the crash bar.

oh and installed the hellahorns.

If it keeps happening, some Nissan rtv will make sure you dont get the code.
On another note, you might want to start soaking bolts a couple of days before removal.

Another sneak peek into my vacation crazyness.

Cut up and modified the wiring harness to add provisions for the halos and for the switchback drl that are on the new bumper.

Modified the turn signal lens cover thing by fusing it with the original hi/low beam lens. Main projectors got an STI-R upgrade with 2 spacers for a sharper cutoff. Also modified the secondary shield in the high/low shield to get rid of the softening effect.

Paint cured and everything reassembled. I went for matte black for the overall housing and gloss black for the side marker and main shroud. few days.

Looks good, I like the simplicity of the matte black housings. Not sure if you've said, but what colour halos are you running? Or will the ones you can change remotely?

I went very basic and low maintenance with the halos. They're just switchbacks. White full power DRL, then when high beams go on, they go to low power mode with 50% output, and when you turn, they flash orange at full power (even with high beams on). Hope that makes sense. I didn't want to do demon eyes or RGB halos as I find them a bit over the top for our cars.

Nice, that's what I would do if I ever went that way, should look sweet.

That looks really, really good. Sport bumper conversion, clean new paint, custom LED fogs, custom mesh... impressive project, Hexotic. You have ACC?

Thanks John. It has been a hell of a week. I do have ACC, so I had to cut that hole out or the car starts freaking out. Still have to build little walls leading up to the cruise sonar thing, but that's after the bumper goes on. The 3 little DRL lights besides the fogs will be changing in a week or so to a switchback versions too to finish things up. The wiring has been very interesting to deal with.

I'll post a bunch of detailed photos of the whole process in my build thread once I get home and have real internet. Some of the stuff that seems simple, like the upper grille, took longer than some of the stuff that seems difficult to do.

Ha, yeah, eventually. I'm all about building on a budget as you know. I refuse to pay what it's going for right now, so I'm waiting for a good deal to pop up locally. I built this whole setup, including the bumper, headlights with the halos, the hella horns, and everything else for under $700 cad. Not about to drop $200 on a lip lol.

I'm going to try and refit the old splitter for now if I can make it work
