Installed JR Concepts oil catch can. I also tapped the intake pipes to follow how the factory brings in fresh air. The lines can be shortened but I kept it simple today.

Rear dif bushing

Ip

It was hard. Probably cuz I was in a hurry. But ended up spending 10 hrs alone. Took like 2 hrs+ to just take bushings out. Then reassemble was pretty hard to do it alone and my skinny *** made everything way more hard then it should of been. But anyway next mod is the rear knuckle shock mount. Hopefully that goes smooth! Ohh plus I added rear hotckis sway bar didn’t realize that awd version is different on the front side. Oh well I got a really good deal on it. Need to install rear k sport coilovers fronts are installed.

Wish you would have said something before you started. I have the Z1 bushing removal tool I no longer need.

Looks like you've got a fun weekend planned, Andy. Just curious... but what spreader tool did you get?

Damn, sorry to see that, hope everything else fared better for you. Can't imagine going through a storm like that

I've said this before: as much as I love my Vossens, if I had seen my duckfeet spaced and dropped first, I probably would have passed on aftermarket wheels. I mean, no regrets at all, just saying it looks good enough that way.

We just had rain and some stiff breezes. I'm in Charleston, so we left and went to Columbia SC... more storm hit there than hit here. Was fun driving with traction control off on wet roads though - car is balanced well for mild drifting. Buddy we were staying with has a heavily modded early CTS-V so we took a traffic cone to a private industrial parking lot (with permission) to do skidpad practice.

Now, I have a 5-lb bag of crystal kitty litter in a lingerie washer bag in the floorboard to try to pull moisture out of the firewall mat. Carpet and padding is drying in the sun and 90+ degree heat, and I'll spray everything with white vinegar before putting it back together. Tore up the lower b-pillar and some of the plastic trim on the driver's seat getting that heavy f*er in and out though.

I think the OEM wheels I have (2013 sedan sport wheels) are like the duckfeet above. I'm considering spraying them with Duracote durablue in polished black: https://www.duracoatfirearmfinishes....nt=33527890121 because the 20's that were on the car when I bought it are heavy as sin and have craptonite tires.

Installed phase one of my cosmetic enhancements. Nothing wrong with a little well placed & brightly lit vanity. Window trim wrapped in gloss black is next.
