John, I live in a condo, that's my friends place. I just finished building my garage at the cottage, and it's going to be pristine.
Love the foam. I just bought the MATCC foam cannon and I'm looking into buying the sun Joe spx3000 pressure washer to run it. I'm tired of going to the car wash with my 2 buckets haha
Finally got a chance to take the cats out and get ready to put ART pipes in. Only one stripped bolt which was easily extracted using Irwin’s extractor tool. Other bolt broke. Thanks to Blnewt for the awesome write up on this. The 50/50 mix is the best!! Total removal time about 2 1/2 hours on my back.

Bold move, Quinn. You're going to feel some extra grunt, and you're certainly going to hear it, too.
Worried about tripping a CEL without any catalyst, or do the extended sensor connectors take care of that? Does FLA do a visual for cats on inspection, or do you got that covered if they do?
Well I was hoping it wouldn't be too loud since I still have 18" resonators and 12" mufflers on the custom catback. As for the CEL, from what I've researched the extended O2 bungs are supposed to eliminate that problem. Thanks for the info on the law and if I ever sell it, I'll make sure to include the OEM cats for the next buyer or reinstall them myself.

I kept my original cats, too. Should there ever be a need for them. NY doesn't sniff, but they do record a visual inspection that's submitted to Albany.
Way back when, the mechanic had to cut off a corner of one of the flanges in order to remove them, so there's some added work I hope never to have to deal with.
I'd suspect that as long as there is a physical cat, you'll be fine. Kinda difficult to tell the difference between OEM, high flow and an OEM replacement, unless of course they are brand new and shiny
I ran my old Firebird without a cat for years, and while I knew a guy who passed me with a wink, it was still a PIA since he was wayyy out of the way. The worst are those "Mr Inspection" places

Nice! Did you pick those up from Brad?
No emissions or anything here in FL to worry about.
Glad it worked out without too much trouble Quinn. Those extended counter-flow 02 ports seem to "the setup" for avoiding CELs. Look forward to your review of those pipes.
DFS,
Got them off a guy on Craigslist about 6 months ago. He said he was going turbo on his 370 so no longer needed them. Some younger firefighter guy who lives in Spring Hill.
Newt,
Drove around the block for a leak check and the sound increase is minimal as I hoped it would be but definitely an increase.. There is a “tin like” sound I don’t care for but only first gear around 3-4K and the cold start sounds like a damn tractor trailer up until it warms up. I think some header wrap may help with muffling the sound. As for performance, can’t feel the difference probably because I need some more seat time. What I really need is a tune to get all these breather mods working together optimally. One last thing to note was that my stock cats were toast anyway. I had a feeling they were because there was always a rattle I heard before I swapped them out with the motordynes. I shook the cats and the insides are bouncing around in there.
