How is it? Is it louder? I'm looking at several different HFC's right now and I'm not one for extra noise and I'm not a fan of rasp. Just want a good aftermarket replacement.

It is a little louder but nothing excesive. Same exhaust note Which is what I wanted. I'll put it this way, didn't tell my wife I was installing them and I don't think she will ever know the difference. I definately hear the difference., that's what I was going for. There was a small amount of rasp the first 10 min then nothing. I guess just needed to break in a little.

That cover is gorgeous, but your engine bay is filthy, bolts are corroded, and the washer fluid cap is missing.

I took 2 hours and did a full interior detail. Leather, all plastic trim (forgot the ceilings! Oops), vacuumed and cleaned the glass. Just have to wash the all-season mats next time I have access to a hose.
Everything looks wet and shiny now. I used Maguire's Natural Shine for plastic, and Mothers VLR for leather (Pics to come).
Two questions I've got now.
1. Is there anyway to repair or touch-up scratches in the brushed aluminium trim? The shifter head and boot trim have scratches from the previous owners ring.
2. Tips for dog hair removal? It just keeps coming out of every crevice. Previous owner took them in there with seat covers, but its still all over. I used a silicon brush for the big stuff, but I'd rather not go hunting with tweezers. Should I just get a mechanical turk?

I was going to say something too, but all that kept coming out sounded snarky.

No wait.
