I got those same ones. They feel super cheap and the finish comes off easily. Junk. I went back to OEM ones.

They're definitely light, but I've had mine a couple years now with no issues on the finish. Post when I installed mine: https://www.myg37.com/forums/g37-sed...ml#post3944952

I've had mine for a year and they look the same as they did when I opened the package. Carsmo ones are nice but I always find myself wagering the cost vs other things I could buy with those funds.

If you like them better than the OEM *****, then it's a win.

Carsmo ***** are worth the cost, which would be an even bigger win. But a win is a win, either way.

Agree, just some stuff on my '$50 mod' list that won out. Differential fluid and transfer case fluid was the latest.

The plastic worked out great for me but they seem to be a hit or miss in terms of fitment and durability.

I really like mine. I just bought the package with like 10 of the cheap ones in it, that way if the finish ever wears off, I just replace them. I have had them on the car for about 6 months without any issues. I use the controls on the steering wheel a lot though.

$50 for some ***** is just not how I prefer to spend my money. That said, the CARSMO ones look great.

On that same note, the saving money note, I installed my new wheels, tires, spacers, and TPMS this past weekend. Everything was used except for the spacers, which I bought new and actually spent some cash on due to safety.

I ended up with M45S wheels, Continental DWS06 tires with about 90% remaining, and some 1-yr old TPMS sensors off of this site. Total for everything including install of spacers, wheel balancing, TPMS reprogram, etc. was under $1000. So, I am pretty happy the end result. Now I need to close up the wheel gap a bit.

Definitely if you buy the 10-pack like I did. It was still under $10 shipped to my door from China. I have not had to replace any of the ***** and gave a set away as well. So, I still have 2 left as spares, if I need them.

I bought slightly different ones. No lines going down the side, nice thick aluminum. Ill take a pic at some point, but they're similar to these black ones I had for a bit. (wasnt feeling the black too much) They feel a lot nicer than the grooved ones.

I spent a day over the holiday weekend fixing an oil leak on my oil filter relocation adapter. It literally took me hours (and 3 cans of engine degreaser) to get all of the gunk cleaned off the lower sub-frame and undercarriage, but it was worth it and looks almost new again. I also pulled off all the front chassis braces and front sway bar and dropped them off at the powder coaters on Monday to have them coated candy red to match the rest of my suspension parts.
