What did you do to your Sedan today?
Looks Great! Wish I could run my canadian g37 without the drl to have the halos run by themselves. The canadian headlights are running all the time. Went to the dealership to have them turn them off but they can't do anything about it or don't want to
Looks great, second Ontario G that I know of with OneEighty lights (well, the only one now since the first one was totalled last year)
Nico is from Canada
There is a way that works on some cars, and doesnt work on others where you swap your vin number with a US one in the scan tool, and it allows you to disable them. My buddy at a dealership successfully did this once, but it didnt work on two other cars, so its hit and miss. Im curious if it can be changed with just the wiring makeover. The earlier Canadian coupes use the fog lights as DRL, and the headlights stay turned off. Curious if you can use the wiring from the coupe or if its really a software thing.

You nailed it iCrap, shes a total loss. I will find out more about the settlement in the morning. Added up all the Mods since I bought her 3/16. Roughly $7,540.52 in parts and roughly $3,800 in labor. Seams kinda ridiculous now when I only paid $13,500 for the car and I still owe around $7,000. My father always told me "you must have more dollars then sense".
Probably ganna fix her and pay out of pocket.
As I said before it just makes me sick I was just sitting at a stop light.
Thanks for the support y'all.

Really sorry to hear that, Noah. My insurance company wanted to total out my 2008 when it was hit in the right rear quarter panel a couple of years back and your damage is considerably worse than mine was, so it unfortunately it doesn't surprise me that the car is a total loss.
The biggest issue is those rear quarters will actually need to be cut off and new ones welded on. I saved a bit of money in that the body shop I used was able to get a right rear panel from a scrap yard off a car that was wrecked on the driver's side, but you will need both quarter panels replaced along with the rear bumper and trunk. Plus any damage that you might have to the undercarriage and/or suspension. So I would say it's probably not worth trying to fix it yourself. I would just pull off all of the parts that you put on it (unless your insurance company is reimbursing you for those) and then start over from scratch with another G37 sedan.

Post #25 and #32 are the Cole's Notes... I believe you will have the best luck sourcing a third party service shop with access to the Nissan Consult menu

The trick is finding someone that will actually do the work. I even tried countless US dealers, none of which wanted the liability. It is illegal to remove DRL's in Canada, but Drive Clean has detailed the process in the below thread...

So, where's your car? I see a huge Bucs sign but no car. Oh, wait, there it is. That tiny little object at the bottom.
If you're taking photos of your car, focus on the car. Big and bold and in the center.
