Wow, you're early. I don't deal with this until after Thanksgiving.

Yeah I know. I usually wait until the snow starts but I thought I'll do them now before it gets colder outside. Plus I was kind of curious to see how the new color on the wheels would look

Winter Prep

Over the last week or two, I've been:
  • cleaning up my winter wheel spacers
  • cleaning up my OEM lugnuts.
  • clean, clay and wax my duckfeet, sitting in the basement since early Spring.
  • ordered a pair of X-Ice for my rear wheels
  • dropped off my front duckfeet for rebalancing, just this morning, actually.
  • got half of the car clayed and waxed

Getting ready for winter. Hate winter.

Thank you. The wheels look a little darker on the picture than what they actually are

Great choice on the x ice tires. I have them on mine and they are the best winter tires I had

Brand new X-Ice on the rears, and my last winter (?) for the Blizzaks on the front. Maybe get another year out of them, but you really don't want to play the tread-wear game with snow tires.

I hope so. I risked it last winter and went through it with some abused all seasons.

Just got my winter wheels wrapped with the X ice and I'm kinda looking forward to the first small snow storm. Emphasis on small.

Aside from that I haven't seen my G in a week. On vaca dodging hurricane Matthew in Florida. One more week to go. Ill survive somehow.

Put my winters on tonight, planned to put it off another week or two, but it's gone below freezing and snowed an inch or so today. It's going down below freezing for at least the next week straight every day. Tested my UHPAS tires on the way home from work today, and they didn't perform too well if I tried to accelerate or brake quickly.

Scored an incredible deal on these 19" M45 wheels with brand new bridgestone tires. Looks way better than the stock 17s.
