ARK also weighs more than the OEM Exhaust if the potential buyer didn't know. That's why I also switched to MD

Yes, I'd agree with you there, I'm sure the resonators would make a difference. Unfortunately back when I was running HFC's no one offered resonated HFC's, so I don't have any experience with them.

Here's a video of my car showing it when I had the Ark Grip

Don't get me wrong though, the ARK is a beautiful exhaust. Sounds great. But to say it doesn't have any drone or rasp is not entirely true, at least in my eyes.
Got the ARK installed yesterday. There was a firmer I Saud as the midpipes were marked wrong. Construction and finish / joints/ welds are top notch.

i am now running ARK Grip CBE with stock cats and no headers. Haven’t heard a cold start yet but yesterday on my way back from the shop, tried different rpm ranges and gears acceleration, decelerations, up/down shifts.

I can confirm firm absolutely no rasp. There is very slight humming drone if I am cruising at around 140km/hr in the 6th gear. Until the rpm is below 3k the drone is not event detectable unless you roll down the windows and try to hear...

love the throaty growl. I’ll post video of first cold start shortly

Hello,

I went with the Manzo Y-Pipe and Axle back, Berk Test Pipes and DC Sports Headers:

Manzo Y-Pipe

Manzo Y-Pipe

Manzo Axle Back

DC Sports and Megan Racing Headers - I had some issues with the Megan on the driver side, so I took them off and installed the DC ones in stead.

90 degree elbow anti-fouler - This helped get rid of the Catalyst Efficiency codes.

Everything is put back together, but car is currently sitting in my garage, still working on some kinks and issues.

HKS-hi power axel back

Just a general question, if I bought the hks hi power exhaust, and just from the axel back does anybody know if they’ll bolt into the remaining stock exhaust?

If it's like any other axle back, should fit with no issues.

Best Exhaust Setup for a G37x

Hey everyone!
So I have a 2011 G37x automatic that I’ve had for about 2 months now ... I deleted the Resonator only and not the muffler and tbh ... I regret it. I should’ve deleted the Muffler only not the Resonator. I kinda want to actually change my exhaust set up into something new ... any recommendations on something under $1000? Or should I just put back on the Resonator and delete the muffler... thank you !!

Nope. It was from a group buy I posted in the GB section. I got a deal on it too since I'm donating my car for some mock up.

$2560 shipped, huh? Wow. Serious bragging rights.

Yeah pretty expensive, but if you think about it, not too bad. Hell a full Motordyne for the AWD now runs $2000+, and obviously GTHaus is closer to $3000 and neither of those is titanium. Titanium is probably the best exhaust upgrade you can truly get for these cars, since in general we don't get big gains on exhaust. If you shave weight off in the process it adds up. Obviously a single would make sense in that case, but I just don't like the single look with these cars.

I will post pictures when I get it. I've already seen some of the ones he's made they look sick.
