Nice! Always neat when someone fabricates their own set-up. Resonators will clean up the sound so I'm looking forward to the update once you've got them installed. Is that your shop? I'm debating on installing the the test pipes myself or biting the bullet and having a shop knock it out for me.

Off-topic: Where in Baltimore are you located? I'm 30 minutes north in Westminster.

I wish it was my shop lol. It’s a buddy’s older brother’s shop. He’s been awesome the past few weeks helping us with our exhausts. He has the shop to do maintenance and repairs on their company’s van fleet. But also likes to work on cars in his spare time. So everything’s been at cost of materials. $90 for some pipes and elbows yesterday. When we did the hfcs last weekend it was a breeze. Took about two hours on the lift. After doing it on the lift, I would not attempt it on ramps or jackstands in a driveway which was my original plan. It would be so hard to apply the force you need to from your back on the ground.

Im in hunt valley area!

I'm a bit concerned that these FI RHFC may make the car too quiet. When I added the 12" Vibrant resonators to my setup, it quieted it down some and cleaned up the sound. Since these FI's are already resonated, I'm debating removing the 12" resonators when the RHFC's are installed, to maybe offset the decrease in volume. Does anyone have experience running the FI RHFC's without resonators by the mufflers? I have a resonated x-pipe as well, so I would think there'd be no rasp left to quell after that point.

Currently I have the Berk HFC's, 2.25" exhaust with 12" resonated x-pipe, 12" vibrant resonators, and Magnaflow 3-chamber mufflers.

Would there be a big difference if I gotta tune before getting Berk HFCs or after getting them?

Sorry if this sounds dumb

I don't personally have a tune, but from various accounts I've read, you'd be wasting money tuning a stock G. I'm not even sure you'll get much gains tuning with just HFC's.

Get all your bolt ons installed then tune. The tune uses what is currently installed to maximize power and efficiency.

If you are talking about the rubber hangers, you need to use the ones that came off stock mufflers.

I’m sure you can buy new OEM ones if you want. I have ARK exhaust on my sedan and used the stock hangers.
