Yep. Little extra grunt and deeper tone from the cats, a louder exhaust note from the Tanabe cans, and a more appealing looking set of components when comparing the back end to OEM.
Seems like a reasonable approach, and (relatively) easy on the wallet.
It is funny how resonators changes exhaust note, before my last revision. It was excellent from 2000RPMS to 7400RPMS , with pops and gurgles, but there was drone around 1500RPMS.
But now, when i increased volume of my Helmholtz resonator, there is no drone, but it is much louder after 3000RPMS...
Can you plz explain what you mean by " increased volume of my helmholtz resonators" I'm very interested.
So you simply made it bigger n did you fabricate the whole set up or you got the Helmholtz resonators from your own exhaust. I have the ark is something like this possible

Yes, I have Tanabe and my resonators are removable.
That would be the Tanabe Axle-back and a pair of high-flow cats, at which point the only thing you're keeping stock is the crappy mid-pipes and OEM resonators.

IMO By the time you add HFC's to a Tanabe axle back your gonna get too much drone again. I tried running HFC's with the Tanabe for a while and it was just too loud and droney (if that's actually a word) for me. I'm happy with the sound of my Tanabe axle back with Tanabe Y-pipe and OEM resonated mid-pipe and OEM cats... Just a little bit louder than stock, but absolutely no drone.

Perhaps I'm looking at this from the perspective of *resonated* high-flow cats.
The Ark and Motordyne will certainly wake the dead with an awesome and unique sound. But if that's a problem, then probably the Stillen (and HFCs) is the way to go for this guy. Heck, even FI is pretty damn loud, although more modulated and smooth sounding.
Thanks for the input fellas . I think we have a some widely differing opinions here. Motodyne iia not an option. From the videos, I thought ARK is louder than stillen but many of you and the performance tuning shop here in Toronto, white head racing, told me that Stillen will be more droney/raspy.
took the car to the local exhaust shop and the leak is in Y pipe. I can get the OEM Y for about 800 cad and an after market one for about 550.
I am leaning towards ARK

I have the ark on my 2013 sedan 7A/T which is prone to drone with an aftermarket exhaust due to the transmission Characteristics n while at a gentlemenz meet up last Sunday I got to hear the stillen which is not louder than the ark CBE exhaust no way, drone n raspyness is different from actual volume. The ark has no rasp or drone due to the Helmholtz resonators right behind the muffler, just something to think about.

I disagree with the fact that ark has no rasp or drone. It definitely did when I had it but not too sure if that was due to my Z1 HFC or not. It's been a while. One thing the ARK grip does have is hiss upon decel.
Here's a video of my car showing it when I had the Ark Grip
Don't get me wrong though, the ARK is a beautiful exhaust. Sounds great. But to say it doesn't have any drone or rasp is not entirely true, at least in my eyes.
