thanks man. Going to be hard for me to hack it up as is but with the HFC its too loud as the IPL resonators are half the size of the oem sedan resonators. So ill have to add the resonated X pipe to quiet it down.

no mufflers
piping ends just before spare tire well. I think once its routed out back itll sound better and quiet down.
maybe.

hey, your exhaust sounds amazing but just 1 peice of advice. During my journey I was trying to find a cheaper way to get a nicer tone n at the time all I had done was a pair of 12in vibrant resonators with tanabe muffler on my g37x sedan. So I removed the muffler n it sounded F-ing amazing n now it was time to simply add the piping from where the mufflers meets the mid-pipes n it change everything, I'm not sure why the sound went out the window, the shop I used does custom work on the regular. Once the pipes where on I was so upset, but thanks to the mechanic for cutting off the ends off the mufflers so he didnt have to weld the new pipe n make it permanent n the very next day I pulled the pipes off n kept like that until I got my ark n never looked back. So I hope this sheds some light on what it MIGHT sound like, good luck.

sheesh that sucks man. Appreciate the heads up. I do plan on adding the magnaflow resonated X pipe as well as finishing the piping. There are a few examples on utube of this setup so im not completely in the dark. Nonetheless thank you for sharing that experience i wouldnt have thought adding a couple feet of piping would alter the sound.

What exhaust to get?? FI or ARK?

Fast Intentions or ARK for G37X? 12in, 18in, or Non resonated for x-pipe? I don't mind the lead time for FI from what i've read is long. I would like to get a deep sound with quality welds as I live in Iowa. (Harsh winters)

Both use 304SS. Both are quality systems. Both sound great. All depends on the muffler style you're looking for - Can vs. Oval.

18in. resonators if you go that route....

We all do. If it was sub $2,000 for the entire system, it would probably be within the top 2 most bought exhausts for the G.

Ordered the FI cat back exhaust yesterday (2/22/19) and they gave me a ship date of 3/4/19 to 3/14/19. So if anyone is thinking of fast intentions, they've defiantly stepped up their production to lower lead times. Also, you're able to put down a deposit to start your order and they'll charge the rest when it ships.

Thinking about selling my Ark and picking up this titanium setup for only $2500~. Group buy is going on now.

I was hoping for more interest, checks a lot of boxes for people: Stock like look, very good ground clearance, but loud when you romp on it. Plus the titanium version would also offer a lot of weight savings. If you're in the market for taxes I'd at least scope it out. I put more info in the group buy section.
