I've been eyeing this also when En posted he had finished the exhaust. I got my Motordyne not long ago so I plan to rock it a bit before moving on to ThaiTanium's exhaust. Hoping there'll be another group buy in the future.

Hey guys. I've got the Top Speed Y back and ISR performance Y pipe at the moment. Looking to add a pair of FI RHFC. I've searched a bit and haven't been able to find a video of this set up, i'm curious at how it will sound with the RHFC. Do any of you know where I can find a clip of this set up? Didn't want to make a whole post about it so hopefully you guys can help me out. thanks

Maybe for cat backs. It's been two months and I still haven't received my RHFC's. I'm sure it'll be worth it though.

I totally recognize I'm responding to an almost 3 year old post here, but curious what the catch is on the J2 and Manzo full catback options priced at around $600 and why more aren't posting about running these? Are they really that sh***y of a product or is it maybe that Invidia and Tanabe are expert at using this forum as a marketing tool and keeping the publicity at a minimum for these....

edit: I keep scrolling this thread. I think I've made it past about a years worth of posts. I still can't find where someone says this POS $600 J2 or Manzo catback rusted out or fell off going 60 down the freeway. But oddly when someone makes mention of these options no one ever responds and everyone is right back to talking about Tanabe, Invidia, ARK.....

Fitment is spot on and it sounds pretty good too.

Now take this with a grain of salt since I bought the car WITH J2 installed and in poor condition but:

Mine has rusted already to the point where it looks embarrassing. The previous owner was on this forum, lobuzz. I think he had a build thread, and you can see exactly when he bought it. Here is his now my car with the J2. Looks like he put it on in 2017 (in Cali). The car was sold to a guy in WI, so it may have seen a winter (though I see no evidence it did everything else is not rusted). Then I bought it after, with the ypipes leaking and bottomed out. That gets me on to the y-pipes.... judging by looks alone they hang low. I will look how low it is compared to my Ark today or tomorrow, but I'm not surprised they bottomed at the flex section here.

Here is what the mufflers looked like in summer last year.

Meanwhile I bought my ark about the same time, and you can check the for sale section to see pics of the condition, AFTER 2 daily driven winters in the salt belt. No where near the same amount of rusting.

I've seen mentions of poor welds that lead to numerous exhaust leaks when it comes to the Manzo.

I went with a TopSpeed Y-back and while the welds and fitment are fine, the surface rust that accumulates is crazy. Requires a wash and polish every 2 weeks but if you don't stay on top of it, your exhaust tips will look awful.

I just know Ark has been phenomenal considering I drove it through 2 winters in the salt belt. People have commented on the good welds on this exhaust, it's extremely high quality. I got friends with it who are slammed out of their mind and it takes all the abuse. Only real complaint about Ark is it hangs a little low at points it doesn't need to, and it's not titanium .

Quick question!

I'm looking to add some tone to my g37 rn. I don't want it to be too loud yet so I was thinking of getting an axle back. All the axle backs I look at say "Coupe" but was curious if it would still fit on the sedan.

Thanks!

I don't think coupe stuff works without modifications.

Maybe it's been asked before, but what does everybody think the quietest high flow catback system is?

Want some more horses, but want to keep it tame sounding.
