I have a 20x9 squared ET 35. Any suggestions on the largest tire I can go? I have 245/35 and they're not meaty enough.
Could run a 265/30, might be tight in front w/ that semi-rolled fender though, if you get that flat-rolled like the rear you should be ok w/ that wheel spec.
Unfortunately the sedan has about 15mm less at the fenders, most sedan guys run +35 in front on a 9 to 9.5width and a +40 to +45 in back on a 10 to 10.5" width to get flush w/ in spec camber. There's ways to get those to work but the end result won't be a great way to roll on a daily basis
first, just want to say thanks for all your input over the years. Every time i search something its a high possibility you've given an answer. So down to the meat. I've done thorough research and think I've come to my conclusion. Just want your opinion. 19x9.5 +25 on 245/40 and 19×10.5 +43 275/35 rear. Will be lowered on stance ss coilovers. Will the fronts be ok? I've debated against doing a +35 and using a small spacer if needed to get the rim just at or slightly poked of the front fenders. But I'd prefer no spacer and spot on fitment. I'm 99% convinced on the wheel, but fronts only come in +25 or +35. Any advice?

Thanks for the kind words
I'd run the +35, I run 9.5 +38 and the wheels are just a bit outside the fenders, you'd be poking pretty good w/ the +25s.
From my experience 10.5 will poke out about and inch in the rear. If your looking for poke or camber then go for it. Also I have 275 in the rear and i regret it I'm getting 255 once i destroy these tires way too wide and it has 0 stretch to clear the fender.

The 9.5" with +25mm should be just about perfect up front. I'm currently running 20"x9.5" with the same offset up front (well mine are actually +35 mm with a 10 mm spacer, so +25 mm total). I'm running 255 wide tires and around -1° to -1.2° camber and have never rubbed. I could probably even get away with 15 mm spacers up front, but*I'm*planning to move up to 265's for my next set of tires instead. The 10.5" with +43mm should also be just about right for the rear. I have 20"x10.5" with +37 mm in the rear and*when I used to run*285's I had to run around -2.5° camber to get enough clearance, so with an extra 1/4" of offset you should be just about perfect with your 275's and not have to run excessive negative camber in the rear.
First two pics are of my original set up with 275's in the rear and 245's with 15 mm spacers up front. Eventually went to 285's in the rear and 255's with 10 mm spacers up front with the same wheel set up. This is my current set up with 305's in the rear (with the rear fenders widened 1-1/2" over stock) and 255's up front with 10 mm spacers. This is obviously much lower than I usually run the car but I had to show off my air bags for the show.
I don't have a good photo of behind the car. I'm running 20x10.5 +45 w/ 285/30/20 and 20x9+32 w/245/35/20 with a 1.5 inch drop(Approximately).
Chrome is now vinyl wrapped to match the rims, while the logo's are satin black and the front window is slightly tinted. I like how it helps make these cars aggressive, with the big tires.
You have a great look! I dig your rims man! What brand and model are they? Are you lowered on anything or running stock hight? Great looking G!

I'm going to answer that, because your quoting a comment that's over two years old.
Those are Vossen CVT wheels, in an "Anthracite" finish. IDK what anthracite is, looks like graphite to me. Here's their website: http://vossenwheels.com/wheel/cvt/
That sedan is certainly lowered. Fitment is spot-on, too. It looks fantastic.

Looks great! 275 square on 18s is my dream set up, hows the steering feel/handling with the 275s?
thank you.
its definitely not as sharp nor responsive as with a 225. Doesnt feel as tight. Im hoping it gets better as tires break in.
may be a good reason to stiffen the hotchkis rsb to the more aggressive setting.
I was originally going to do 275's in the front and 315's in the rear, but I think I'll go with 265's in the front since I've heard some regret going as big as 275. Plus that way my diameter ratio is perfect.
That setup looks pretty slick. You're getting spacers for BBK though still?
