High 30s will be hard to do without adding a lot of camber and a low drop. I have a daily driver with frequent little travelers. I couldn't clear rear +34s with 285s on an Eibach-like drop and -2.2 camber. Edit: For reference, here are old pics of the +34 before swapping them out for +45s. http://img.voicesofvision.com/photos...-KchXGJh-L.jpg http://img.voicesofvision.com/photos...-2chGChd-L.jpg |

Here's my application to the "Fat Tire Nation"
Wheels are Nutek Bavaria BC5 Matte Black 8.5"x20" +40 front, 10"x20" +45 rear. Tires Toyo Proxes 4 Plus 245/35/20 & 295/30/20. Hats of to Lance (1cleanG) for hooking me up w/ Kris at GOTO racing, he bent over backwards to get the offsets exactly as I wanted and kept me well informed throughout the transaction. Definitely recommend them to anyone looking for G parts. Lance & Kris are co-owners GOTO Racing Online Fronts are about 7mm from the inner fender edge (I had previous wheels spaced to be almost flush but they'd hit the under liner too often so I wanted them back a bit more. The rears are 2mm from the inside fender edge, exactly what I wanted. Amazing how well the G feels planted w/ the wider tires and traction is no longer an issue, G launches rock solid. The wheels were recently released from Nutek and a few Lexus IS have them but I think I'm the first G. At any rate, couldn't be happier :) 1pc cast wheels | Concave wheels | Bavaria Wheels http://imageshack.us/a/img834/4342/1001858u.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img41/6987/1001863w.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img821/1315/1001866u.jpg |

I'd be just a bit worried that the 295s might barely nip the inside of the fender lip. My 295s barely get inside the fender and I'm at the same offset but a 10" rim.
http://imageshack.us/a/img39/4213/1001867g.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img594/1126/1001864u.jpg I think I'd go w/ the 255/40 & 285. The slightly taller sidewall shouldn't have much effect, although either size front wont matter much since it's not AWD and the speedo's not effected, so I guess if the 35s are your preference why not? |
