Forum 101: stay on-topic while poking the monkey.
I'm afraid you've lost track of context. Review the OP's stats for a moment, and it should become clear.

He drives an Xs
He wants another Xs
He lives in Ontario

This is very much an AWD thread. Slipping some Blizzaks onto a RWD with an LSD may not be sufficient for the OP...hence, the AWD. Slapping some Blizzaks onto an AWD G37 will work better for him. People with 6MT and winter tires say it doesn't make a difference, but they're wrong. (see what I did there )

Perhaps we should actually stop assuming and ask the OP if AWD is a requirement. We can then move forward from there. If he doesn't want AWD, then everything you've suggested is true. If he does, then what you say may still be true, but it's 100% irrelevant. He is referring to top of the line with regards to AWD sedans. Not absolute top of the line either (which we've already shown to NOT be a 6MT sedan...but rather an IPL Vert 7AT). So while you urge me to stay in context with regards to the IPL not being a sedan, I urge you to stay in the context of the OP wanting AWD. I hope you can see this.

EDIT:

I do acknowledge that I have made an assumption that the OP wants AWD. It should first be determined if this is the case before advising him further.

Gee-e-e-zus. You clearly have more invested in making a point than I do.

The Internet is serious business. Maybe you should start treating it as such

What if I told you that you were wrong. Would you elaborate on why you're right, or just accept it and move on?

I thought it was one of the points, and tried to clearly show why. I even tried to use some of the same verbiage that you did. And to that, I present

Nice Buy

I pretty much bought the exact same color G37xs recently over here on the West coast in Vancouver. Except mine's a CPO 2011.

[QUOTE=Rochester;3879028]Lower payment, newer car, longer warranty, better Nav, more attractive front end... sounds like a win to me. Go buy that car!

I read what you wrote to my fiancee and she said you made a lot of good point, so I went back to the website to look at it and it sold lmao

To answer the question about the AWD, Yes I wanted the AWD just because of our winter.

Aw-w-w. Damn. Sorry to hear that.

And I'm sorry for the OT. Your car is top of the line, baby!

Am I the only person who is concerned about reading one "stranger's" opinion to your fiancee as reasoning to spend thousands of dollars and tie yourself down to an extended loan on a depreciating asset?

Not much of a stranger on this forum and certainly a nice and educated guy, but still! lol

While the G may be a depreciating asset, I surely appreciate driving mine

well I'm not going to lie, the G depreciated so fast that 6 month after I bought the car they wanted to give me 16 000 for it, boy I was mad especially when I just paid 26 000 for it, probably they would give me 2-3000 for it now lol.

the car will be paid off in 2017, by then I may keep it and just lease the Q
