I voted for fugi only and centered, But I personally love the fugi only in original position.
I really like the fugi and skyline,But since i only have fugi on mine and knowing how nice it is to detail the trunk now,There's no going back for me.

Thinking about doing this (not my car).

Fine with purists raising an eyebrow; if I do it, it would be simply as an homage, not a replica (which would necessitate a costly RHD conversion )

I just ordered the oversized Fuji. $25 shipped from eBay (new). I will take pics once it is installed.... I will warn you... it will be plastidipped black /flamesuit on

 

Since it's going to be off the car first you might as well do it right and paint it gloss black with real paint.

 

Want it to match the trunk trim. I personally don't mind the dipped look.

I am not surprised that someone had already done it Looks good. I guess it should be centered between the top of the trunk and the crease at the bottom?

 

I think the two lines to look at when centering emblems are the crease in the trunk face at the bottom, and whatever makes the next horizontal line at the top... which would be the underside of the chrome lip or the spoiler.

Here, look at this pic and the spacing to those lines from the two different emblems.

 

That is what I was trying to convey! Hope I can get it lined up and straight! haha.

putting "Skyline" or "370GT" or anything JDM on these cars annoys tf out of me. Unless you have real JDM parts on your car, convert it to RHD, have the speedo in K/mh, the dash in Japanese, etc you are a poser. This is barely a step below people putting M badges on 318s and those folks deserve to have their licenses revoked.

Pretty sure it's a common reaction, a defense and a projection of personal values, because you're assuming the person swapping badges is a poser. Heck, I can relate to that. I hate posers. Do you remember when people were putting GTO decals on their Fieros? (Well, maybe you don't. LOL)

But wait... how does that apply to me again? I'm not trying to fool anyone, or pretend I have more of a car than it is. There are no GT-R badges, no NISMO stripes. All that's here is the emblem name from the exact same car, the identical car, but sold in another country.

Your car is not identical to a Skyline because of the differentiating trait which IracknBack alluded to - Skyline vehicles have always come from the factory as RHD.
