Sedan Badge Options - Polling Thread
I've been growing fond of the "GT" badge that shows up on the front fenders of the R34s
I think this would be a neat homage to the namesake of our cars. I even like the sidemarker on there (looks nicer to me than that ugly little bulb we have in our headlamps), but doubt I'd ever have that level of commitment.
Might get some heat for it, but pretty sure I'll order a set and give it a try.
May very well lead to full SKYLINE & 370GT badges on the rear....

I've decided (for now) to keep things as-is, with the small Fuji and INFINITI letters right were they are OEM, and the G37S letters de-badged. Although I readily admit, there's something appealing about replacing the INFINITI letters with SKYLINE. IDK why.
But all the photoshop'd options were fun, and this thread certainly gives people something to look at when assessing what to do... if doing anything at all.

I currently have just a black Fuji but I'm going to be ordering a QX-80 Fuji and painting it black. Before and after pics will come once I finally do it. Since I have a G25 I've been thinking of making my own 250GT badge, black 250, red GT.

I saw this video from member djdiskino a few weeks ago in the chat thread, and it got me thinking SKYLINE again.
Moonlight white, low profile roof wing in black, wrapped lower bumper, G37S badge debadged... plenty of similarity here to give me a decent perspective, and I like it.

Personally I don't think it makes sense to put skyline with the fuji because of different brands. but if that is what you like then that is what you should do.
I currently have the fuji only and absolutely love it. It's not in the center but I really don't see how it will improve the looks if it were to be in the center.
If I ever go with skyline, I will remove the fuji and wouldn't put the burger up there either. Just the skyline badge with 370gt would actually look nice IMO

It doesn't make any sense, that's true. Not the point.
People who know the Skyline history will be all p1ssy and dismissive, without realizing the G has been badged as the SKYLINE in Japan for many years. They probably assume it only applies to the styling and performance themes introduced with the R32. And people who don't know the G at all will just accept the name as something they've never heard of before. Since that first group are aholes anyway, and the second group comprises 99.999% Americans, pretty sure it doesn't matter.
It not a GT-R badge, or some random NISMO sticker... LOL

Hahah true...I was actually thinking of putting a 3.7L badge that comes on the side of the mustangs to replace the G37 but then dropped the idea. I think that would have been unique.. but that badge was too big
I think just the fuji looks nice too..the ones that know it's a G37 wouldnt care..and others can keep guessing lol but yeah I'd love to have the skyline badges just because it's unique here in the states
Not sure why people would go and change out all the door sills ..seats..steering wheel..hahah that's too much and unless u getting ready for Sema..I don't see a point

They come attached to a plastic strip, already aligned and spaced. All you would have to do (in addition to proper debadging techniques) would be to place it in proper vertical alignment, and centered. Should be pretty easy, with care, patience and a good eye.

I'm feeling like I'll be buying the SKYLINE letters this winter, and swap things this Spring.
My 13 year old says, "Do it!"
My 16 year old says, "I don't care. Cars are dumb."

Just Fuji also looks a bit strange, too much negative space
