You must have a seat problem as I am 6'1 and sit upright with no headroom issues.

It's probably your body proportions as others mentioned.

I'm 6'4" and my hair adds another 1-2", I have no issues with headroom in my S

I'm 5'11 and headroom isn't my issue. The car just feels a little tight. My shoulders are extremely broad though and I made the decision to buy it over other cars at the time so I owe up to my choice as it was the best car for the money back in 2010. It isn't a deal breaker either as it is my daily driver.

If I sit in a larger mid-size car I feel fine. The E63 I test drove has probably been the most comfortable car for my build.

My wife's Prius is roomy too and it has become our default vehicle for outings and family trips.

Suggest you go sit in another Coupe and see if the headroom is the same. Maybe measure as I maintain that you have a seat mechanical issue as the rest of tall guys fit

I am about 6'1" and I don't have issue with headroom on my G35S

But I can just barely fit with helmet on and the seat bottom at the lowest position
