G37S and headroom

I am 6' 0". Even with the seat at its lowest position and the back leaned back more than I prefer, my head is so close to the ceiling that my hair brushes against it a lot.

I've read other people here saying that 6'2" and 6'4" people fit in the G37 just fine. Is my seat mis-adjusted, or is there something about the G37S (Sport) sedan that reduces headroom?

6'2". Not even close to having a headroom issue in the sedan. Is your seat bottom adjusted all the way up? You can raise or lower it. It seems a little bit more cramped in the coupe but still fine. Do you have a huge spiked Mohawk or giant Afro?

Seat bottom is all the way down per the adjustment on the side. Haircut is nothing odd, normal male haircut, not high at all.

Someone who is 6'2" and has a longer torso than most may have more of a problem than someone who is 6'2" and is more legs than torso. So that could be why some people who are taller than you fit a little bit better since their legs are were a lot of the height is.

I'm 6'0" and I fit perfectly fine in my G37S Sedan, never an issue, especially with my seat all the way down at all times

How much room between the top of your head and the ceiling?

Exactly that. I'm 6' 6" and have headroom to spare -but I'm all legs.

I'm probably a little more torso than legs, but I don't wear unusually-sized shirts.

Also depends on how upright you like to sit. My neighbor is over 6' and probably has 4" of clearance. He just likes that laid back feeling. My wife on the other hand is about 5'3" but likes to sit bolt upright.

If I lean back much more, I'll look like a gangbanger.

6' 2" here and no problem driving the G37x although the sport seats may be different than mine.

The back seats are a different story, my head touches if sitting straight, think only less than 6' people would be comfortable back there because with a taller person in the front your can't even slouch down with no leg room.

And that back seat problem is across the board with Infiniti's other models. Last time at the dealer waiting for service I sat in the M, Q50, JX and my head was rubbing or close on all of them except the FX which had way more head space along with the QX of course.

quite a lot actually, never been bothered by how much room there is and I don't really lean back a lot either. I'll check later when I go out.

I should be picking up a 2011 G37S on Saturday. I test drove it this past Saturday and I also found that there wasn't allot of room between the roof and the top of my head? I am 6' tall with a 32" inseam.

I will definitely check to see if the seat can be lowered.

I'm 6'3" and never had issues, at all, even when my hair is brushed back and sits a little high. I also usually drive with the seat only about half way back and keep an upright posture.

Either the seat is awkwardly set or OP has abnormal proportions

To answer OP's question, no diff in roofline between sport and non-sport models

I'm only 5'11" but had issues with headroom at first, I have a very long torso though. Once the seat is properly adjusted though I haven't had any issues at all. What I found I had to do is angle the front of the seat up slightly so the rear of the seat would go down more. Makes it more like a bucket and allows the seat to go down more than if you have the seat completely level.
