I thought the same thing when I saw those photos. Funny how we notice things like that now. Although, it does look like everyone is social distancing to an extent... with no close talkers, so that's good to see.

Looks like a fun little meet up with some really nice rides! Your car looks right at home in the middle of that group, Andy! This really makes me miss my car shows and get-togethers.

Yeah, I miss chatting with car minded people. As for the masks, we have like 100 daily cases across the whole province and we're also in stage 3 here. 100 people outdoor gatherings allowed, during sunlight hours masks are recommended but not mandatory as long as distance is kept. I feel bad for you guys South of the border. Must be a completely different world.

We're doing good here in NY... now. Certainly a different story a few months ago. Where I live in Western NY, it's been OK throughout. It was mostly NYC and Long Island which caught the bug hard. America's leadership has failed, but it's not like we expected anything different.

Sorry, Canada.

Yeah, it's very difficult here, because most people aren't following the rules. 100 daily cases is unheard of in any heavily populated area... you guys are very lucky! In California we already have 9231 confirmed new cases just today and 823 new cases today just where I live. It was even worse a few weeks ago after the state allowed everything to open back up. Unfortunately too many people took advantage of the freedom by hitting the bars and restaurants in droves and our cases immediately skyrocketed, so they've pretty much shut everything back down again. Funny enough, my wife just got a call this morning that her hair appointment has been canceled because the place she goes to is in a mandated shutdown. Suffice it to say, she is not very happy because she's been waiting over 4 months to get her hair cut. LOL. I think we are all ready for this to be over.

Man that sucks to hear. We have small spikes here and there every time they allow more things to open, but they've gotten pretty good at contact tracing and slowing the whole thing down.

I work for Jamieson Vitamins, a 100 year old vitamin giant, and based on their projections with ordering raw materials and everything, seems a bit bleek. Went through 3 years of raw materials for vitamin C in 3 months of production.

Ooh, Exige or built R34... that would be a hard choice.

I had an opportunity to hit the Columbia SC cars and coffee with a friend with a tarted up Veloster. While I supremely miss car culture, it ain't worth dying for, and South Carolinians are not a paragon of virtue re: cov right now.

While built, that r34 is still just a GT-T.
Here's my friends R34 that isn't a GT-T but a freaking redtop v-spec...

Just curious, how often do you guys get free 3 month offers from Sirius/XM after taking your car into Infiniti/Nissan service? I seem to get one every time a repair order is opened up on my car, which is not very often since I usually do all my own work. Is this common?

Don't really take my car in for service, but sometimes Sirius just gets enabled, starts giving traffic and weather data on the GPS map, then disappears after a month with no warning. They push free promo months from time to time, too bad they don't notify you when.

Same. It's very disconcerting when your car suddenly warns you about a storm over the lake.

Weirder for me since it doesn't do Canadian weather and I suddenly see it's sunny in Detroit.

That would be strange.

I have noticed that free 1 month trial with some of the channels without any notice too. This is a free 3 month trial with all of the channels that they sent me in the mail because they had record that my car was in for service. I had to go on the website (or call in) to activate it. I had this happen one other time. Anyone else have this happen about a month after taking your car in for service?

I've not noticed any alerts or other changes in the car since our trial subscription ended a few months after buying the car. I do get emails every month offering something from XM though (can't tell you what, I have them filtered to spam). I just don't see the use when I have paid Pandora, youtube music, amazon music, etc on my phone.

I do all my own service as well - that might be the difference.

Have been contemplating many ways on tackling the intakes on this car. I'm a firm believer in the oem style and believe it has tons of potential.
It will eventually use Q50 boxes that I will have fresh directed air from the intake channeling holes that will be enlarged.
Yesterday I started the process with the grill.
If you pay attention to the intakes in the market they tend to move the filters in the front of the grill to take full advantage from the incoming air. The factory system kind of does this already but indirectly to help with debris I believe.
The factory air channeling hole is 90% of the times enlarged for bigger piping so I will adapt that practice however focus on enlarging this area to force ALL of the air into the boxes and have the boxes do their thing.

It looks really good. Once It looks acceptable for me I'll post more pictures.
If all goes well I'll consider making plates that will act just like the bigmouth ram air for the Q50
