Sedan Chat Thread
Yea, I’m not certain if click was the right term but it makes the noise when you feel the driveline movement through the shifter. I only have 41k miles (66km) and have contemplated an aftermarket tranny mount... was thinking this may be the push I need. The NVH may cause new noises to appear but it’s not a vehicle I spend my life in so I’m sure it’d be tolerable.
I love the sound of my exhaust and engine.
However, if there's just one little noise that's wrong, it burrows under my skin and makes me miserable. It really doesn't matter which car it is, although it's a worse experience when it's my G.
You know the guy who always says, "Did you hear that noise? Here, listen for it" when you're driving with him? That's me.

"The third-floor corridor on the right-hand side is out of bounds to everyone who does not wish to die a very painful death."
I made it far less than a week. I think I installed it on Sunday and took it off Tuesday after work, hot exhaust and all. I wanted that biatch off!
Yeah I was involved in that thread, watched the list of ppl grow that removed it. It is definitely an “acquired taste” but I doubt i’d Take it off because I’m stubborn enough to allow it to become the new norm.
Unknown noises are another story...

Still have the trans mount installed. 5th gear has a relatively new vibration, otherwise I no longer notice the steering wheel vibes. It's the suspension and bushings that have my attention now, what with all the urethane in the back.
Anyone have experience with their MPG indicator dropping drastically?
Yesterday in the morning it was at 19.6. When driving to work this morning it was at 17.2.
ECU was reset recently (like 3 days ago), but I've never experienced issues with that in the past.

This is exactly me also. Any small noise that is out of place drives me crazy. And I know I drive my wife nuts sometimes because I'm always like, "do you hear that noise, Honey?". LOL

And the chat thread goes there, LOL.
When I was a young man, things like automated cruise control and active lane assist would have been really nice for different reasons than I have today.
