Sometimes I wonder if changing my own oil is worth the fuss yet I still keep doing it. Case in point I guess I ate my wheaties last time I changed my oil because I couldn't get the oil filter to budge (which doesn't make sense since I'm the one who tightened it). After a few frustrating tries I said screw and went and bought an oil filter wrench and of course with one snap of the wrist and it loosened. LOL. The funny thing is I've changed my oil since I was a young punk and I've never had that happen. Oh well, part of the fun, right? At least I didn't have to drill it out..........

Been using these 1" nut-top K&N's on both cars for years now. If it's too tight by hand, the socket wrench effortlessly loosens it.

Also, only used the 5 quarts and didn't add the .2 since the line was near full. Going to monitor overtime to see if I'm in fact burning oil but a part of me thinks it had more to do with me using extended performance this time instead of the traditional mobil one grade oil.
We had a tough winter (by our standards) in SE VA and it was pothole hell for a good bit of the spring.
well I ve only really been in the hampton and newport news area so far and drove all the way down from jersey. I ve been having good luck so far lol
I finally got around to installing my R2C this weekend. I'm not 100% happy with how it looks and I will play with the clamps a bit. I also want to paint the stock mounting brackets that were reused. Hope that my engine bay isn't too dirty to post pictures of on here.
