Ah, I see that now. That a lot of coin, but it's also a lot of car, and exactly what you wanted, I'm guessing... which makes it a great deal no matter how you look at it.

Now that you've entered the exclusive club, ask one of the moderators for the super secret password to the hidden 6MT Sedan Owners sub-forum.

You'll get discounts at Target, and this really cool smoking jacket... because we're special.

Actually the deal worked out so much better then originally advertised. It definitely was exactly what I wanted, actually I wanted this exact one when I originally settled for the one that was totaled. Yes definitely will be inquiring about the secret sub-forum.

Genuinely excited for you, Pedro.

Four years ago, I didn't jump when seeing a 2009 6MT Sedan in Lakeshore Slate with Stone Leather, online here on the East Coast. I thought it would be easy to find the car I wanted, so I let it go. Then some months later, I started searching seriously, and another 2009 6MT popped up in Texas, in Vibrant Red with Stone Leather. Like a fool, I let that slip by too, because I thought deals like that were common. Took a few weeks before I realized they were actually stupid rare. Still kicking myself about it, because I would have spent over $10 less than my 2011, and it would have been this awesome red and stone combo. I could have gone with a 2 or 3 year loan instead of 5 years, and modded it with a more aggressive budget.

I really, really, REALLY wanted Lakeshore Slate w/Stone. (sigh)

No regrets about my MW 2011... just saying that I grok your situation. Well done.

Awesome Find Pedro, now you will be the center of attention with that red sedan! It will be unique among all our usual car colors. Glad you will be able to be at the meet happier then ever. Looks very nice already.

Speaking of buying a 6MT G sedan.....signed the paperwork over lunch to buyout my lease. Stupid financial decision, I know.....

Funny how 3 years can change your perspective. My G was to be a placeholder I didn't mod until the lease was up and I got a CTS-V. Now I have no desire for a V. It's just too....pimptastic.

Time will tell if the C7 starts to grow on me, I'm sure I'd have a different take if I was handed the key to a new C7 Z06
Ford nailed the new Mustang IMO, pretty impressive from all angles.
I can see that. The C7 is a bit of a departure from the C6. I'm guessing you feel about the C6's round tails about how I feel about the GT-R's tails. They become signature and iconic to that model. Wow, yes, the C7 with the Z package is nice! I'm definitely liking the new Mustang. It's pretty well executed IMHO.

Congrats Pedro! What wheels are those? I like the blacked out chrome trim. Gonna be subscribing to your build thread.

Congrats on your purchase Lego!

Speaking of vibrant red... We sold our 2013 X sedan last week after replacing it with a ....(yawn) Ford Expedition.

Back in November we closed on an unfinished home on a local lake. Its accessed by a 7/8th of a mile dirt two-track, then two miles of rock/clay/gravel before reaching poor condition asphalt. We hope to move in late this summer and keeping a nice car would be impossible.

Lake Eufaula (you fall uhhh) on the Canadian River in rural eastern/central Oklahoma. I have a floating dock & 30X60 shop and if all goes well, electricity! next week.

Yeah, that's the only thing I don't like about the V, usually caddies are designated as pimp mobiles or old people cars. However, there is no denying the performance.

I completely agree with you, but... didn't you own a Viper? I mean, if you owned a Viper, then you're already somewhat comfortable driving something that's, um, let's say over-the-top. Takes a particular level of commitment to the genre to do that. Way more than I could ever pull off. Heck, I can barely drive my G with a straight face now that this exhaust is on the car. I'm kind of wimpy, LOL.

With the Viper I wanted to drive the best sports car for my money. The car was no doubt a beast and I loved driving every minute of it but in the end I hated the attention it attracted and never cared for convertible cars so I let it go. I still kind of regret it but maybe I'll be back in a coupe one day.
