Anyone here able to confirm the size on these hood latch bolts?
I'm thinking M8x15, with a washer and lock-washer both. They're torqued in pretty good, and with the lock washer I'm guessing there's a strong safety component here insuring the part stays in place.

Perhaps a Titanium flange bolt, with a standard lockwasher between it and the lock mechanism. Like this:

I say go for it and get whatever the heart wants.

I distinctly remember walking very slowly around that car, appreciating the design consideration of every single panel, every line and every corner, every bit of trim. I loved it. In addition to the undeniably awesome performance specs of the 2015 GT, there's a whole lot to like about the new Mustang.
But not the interior as compared to the imports... Gawd no.
Might as well be a truck.

The interior is actually not that bad (at lest compared to mustangs of old) and actually feels somewhat sporty. The only problem I'm having is deciding on whether to go with the premium package or not. If I don't I miss out on the better stereo, 7 inch LCD infotainment screen (probably not that great, but makes the cabin look better), awesome looking toggle switches (I almost will pay for the package just for these alone, lol), and the gimmicky ambient lighting (ricer at heart). Here is the rub though. I need recaro's. The performance pack (which is a no brainer) comes with a lot of stuff but not my recaro's. The problem is when you option the car with recaro's and premium package you are basically paying for seats twice because the premium package has nice heated/cooled seats added (they actually have ample bolstering too). This brings the price of the car up to around 38k and quite frankly, that's too much for a mustang. So I either need the dealer to make me one hell of a deal and I'll get everything I want in the car, or settle for one of these two options.
1. Performance package with recaro's, everything else standard.
2. Performance package with premium package, no recaro's.
3. Don't buy anything and keep the wife happy..........
Either way, I could be parting out soon so be ready.

I think you know how to manage that problem. You wait. And by that I mean another year, or even two. At which point, dealerships will be flush with inventory, and the whole desirable-new-model thing wears off. And if you're diligent, during that time you may stumble across a promotional event that could make all the difference.
I suspect your G will hardly depreciate during that time; (recall your own link from two days ago.)
Or... just jump off the ledge. Free falling can be fun. One or the other, but don't hang out on the ledge. That will make you crazy.
Hey guys, does anyone know where I can get a hub centric 6mm spacer for our sedans? I have searched online for the past two days, but the only ones I have found are universal. TIA!
Why did you get rid of your Mustang to begin with?
I recall a video of you ripping on it with your son in the back. If you have kid(s), can you make the back seat work--realistically--with car seats?
What about supplementing the G with a few year old, low mileage 5.0?
