Grrr. I'm wondering if 1/2" will fit. Or metric 11 or 12?
I found mine at Lowes in the specialty bolts section.

Hiss appears to be normal for Fast Intentions products.

I asked what causes that to my mechanic and IIRC, its about different air pressures as well as the acoustic changes which is on par with what Rochester said about it being a natural acoustic artifact of the VQ37HR, which is normally masked by the OEM exhaust.

It annoys me from time to time but you get used to it.

You're right. I meant for products with Fast Intentions. Edited above!

Hey dudes,

I just ordered a takeda (coupe) CAI for my sedan. On the AFE website, it says "does not fit sedan" but I have seen several sedans with them on. For those of you who have installed them, have you had fitment issues or bumper fitment issues?

Let me know what you've found out so I can be prepared for my install. Thanks!

Yes, one of Alfredo's cats snapped its welds. And FI replaced it under warranty.

I will say that I know 90% of catbacks have the dreaded hiss. I had it with my motordyne and FI RTP's on my G35.

I can say that with my MD E370, there is not a hint of hiss on decel. Which I am extremely happy about. We will see if that changes once I install my art pipes. The demon bolt is giving me severe problems!!

Luckily I came from two LS2's (TBSS and CTS-v) with long tubes cat deletes, and catbacks. So, there is not much louder than either of those vehicles. I'll be used to the noise haha.

Seriously, i think I may take them to a shop to cut the bolts going up, and just dremel them out.

I cant wait to see if you have hiss when you install the art pipes and for the record, I had no hiss whatsoever with just the catback alone.

Wait, so beyond the lead time for the FI exhaust you have to go out and buy your own nuts and bolts for the system? That sounds quite appalling to me.
