I like the sequential part, but they look like a third of the ring/leds are broken to me when just normal parking light mode or when they blink.

LOL Tony that's done on purpose... They're the so called the evil iron man taillights matching my dual evil iron man headlights up front, get it? Also the turn signal is that way so it's original in my own way and wasn't copied off of another set of sedan taillights with full rings sequencing from inside outwards.

Here are two pictures of the evil iron man front and back for comparison

Nah, the Q50 reminds me of those "crescents" which are properly called evil ironman lights... These had been around even before the Q50 came out, this is my second set of taillights with these as my position/city/driving lights

But yes in all seriousness, I have been told that before, they somewhat have a resemblance

how ironic is that, within an hour or so after completing install of my Blackvue DR650GW-2CH front and rear dash cam in my G, an acquaintance over at my buddys house, hit the front of my car with all of us right there and dashcam catching it too... ... Then thinking to myself that I had my car in his driveway so it'd be safe to begin with

Why in THE hell was he driving so abruptly? He literally got into his car, turned the key to start it and as soon as it turned over he went wide open throttle and chirped the tires than slammed it into reverse and backed up like a maniac. ....

There has to be a bigger picture to this.

OH NO MIKE! Hope it didnt make a big impact on your bumper! Nice pickup with the dashcam, i have the same model but the 550. I also had someone skip a stop sign and side swipe me on passenger side. I was able to swerve a bit to avoid major damage.

Well... Go figure what the bigger picture to this is beer in the mix with another 'substance' and stupidity .. Not saying I didn't have a few beers but I simply don't do something so stupid... Right before it happened my friend called it and I envisioned it as well

Yeah I finally got the freaking dash cam after wanting to get one for so long, but I wanted something with front and rear view so I got the DR650 2 channel one and it was put to use quite quickly if you ask me. It didn't do much damage considering bumper had a lot of rock chips and such. But it was enough to scrape some off make a slight indent and crack the paint... I'll be buying a new bumper and he'll be paying for the paintjob

These dash cams are pretty cool. Is there a write up on how to install it around here?

Does it just stay recording even when you aren't in the car? I would imagine that would use up a lot of memory quickly. A couple hours of 1080p is easily several GBs

you can find how to install these in the diy area. Its not that difficult actually, and you can easily hardwire it yourself.

Many dashcams have different recording features, and some have a parking mode where the camera records when the car is off, but is only activated by movement, so its not always recording. In order to have this feature work, you have to usually hardwire the cam.

EDIT: heres a linkhttps://www.myg37.com/forums/d-i-y-i...for-100-a.html
