Question to John (Rochester) , I couldn't find much on here in a limited period of time so I thought I'd ask, what do you use to apply Leatherique Leather Rejuvenator and then Prestine Clean because I'm on a shopping spree to get all the things I need to detail my car this weekend and also to bring my front seats back to looking like new , they definitely need some revitalizing because they have been abandonded by me.
I also got the Chemical guys Jet Sealant and as well as their Clay block that I wanna try out but I'll be using a traditional clay bar as well, and also ordered CG new TORQ foam cannon gun because the MTM one was bad.. I'm sure I'm missing a few things...

I was curious if you could do before/after pics on the Leatherique treatment (since you're Graphite Shadow with black?? interior as well) as I've been eyeballing that for my own seats and spring cleaning, which will commence sometime after 4/11.

Also, in for pics of the "TORQ foam cannon gun" because with a name like that, it sounds friggin awesome!
Mike, I can't help with what he used to apply the Leatherique (but I am interested myself). Would a standard car wax application sponge work?

That's what I did, right or wrong, I used a microfiber wax applicator pad. However, pour some into a bowl to lap up with the sponge, rather than simply pour it from the bottle directly on to the sponge. I know that seems like almost childish advice, but you'll quickly realize while that makes so much sense.
After generously wiping it on the seat, use your hands to work it into the leather. Be aggressive, like you're kneading dough. Wear gloves. Do it in the morning, on a hot/sunny day, and let the conditioner sit on the leather all day long. Then apply the cleaner. The next day, apply some Lexol Conditioner, if you like. Unlike Lexol, Leatherique is applied conditioner first, cleaner second.
Surprised Mike wants to do this now. It's still pretty damn cold outside, and the conditioner is supposed to sit on the leather hot.
Granted, this is only my advice based on research and limited experience from last year. If you find better technique, or discover what I'm doing is whacked, please let me know. I'm no detailing expert.

Didn't know they used pressure washers but to apply it seems like a good idea. I don't like how close he got to the car though.

I use my pressure washer on my deck and driveway, not my cars.
That looks like a low pressure power washer to me. Or maybe it's all in the tip.
I pressure wash my car, but honestly, it doesn't make much difference. You can't clean a car with a pressure washer alone. It takes physical contact with soap and a sponge. Well, I suppose you could, but we're talking lots of pressure...maybe enough to mess up the paint.
What I saw in that video was very tame. It's hard to even call it pressure washing.

I also read somewhere that someone's just recommended to leave the Leatherique conditioner applied for 24hours and there was no summer heat mentioned in quite detailed review, I believe it was on amazon as well.
Let me know what you think J

Apply it now, leave it on overnight. Worse case that can happen is that it won't rejuvenate the leather as well as if it were hot. Best case, it comes out awesome. So really, you've got nothing to lose, except a portion of stupidly expensive car care product, and some down-time with the car.
Here's an idea: use your seat warmers. Turn them on for an hour or so. That might work.

I don't take my car through the car wash, but once in a while I do go to the Touchless Laser Wash bay, which is pretty much the same kind of thing. It's does an OK job (for winter). But not nearly as good as a proper mitt & soap by hand.

You're probably right. If the guy is even a little bit familiar with pressure washers, he knows not to get it too close, regardless of pressure.

I suspect that if I pressure rinsed my car daily, I'd probably hardly ever have to wash it. After a couple of weeks, the pressurized water has little to no effect on removing the final layer of dirt.
Well my front passenger side rotor runoff is bad causing alot of jitter/shutter and rather than resurfacing I fig now would be a great time to invest in slotted/drilled rotors...biggest question is what pads have you guys been using that's not causing any noise (squealing, screeching, etc, and 2 that are low dust? Thanks
Will be doing slotted/drilled rotors, stoptech SS lines, and the one kit I am looking at they do offer it to come with the POSI quiet performance pads
