25.75" is what I have raised my car up to for going around downtown Houston and not breaking my kit. Only issue I've ran into (over?) was when I went out to Hempstead and 290 over some train tracks.
At a crazy angle, I can make a right-hand turn out of my driveway, and have a 90% success rate without scraping. However, at similar angles, my left-hand turns are about 50:50 scrape/no-scrape. I don't know exactly what is hitting, but it's so very light that I try not to let it bother me.
So I'm just crossing my fingers that the FI catback installs with similar or better clearance. But I suspect I might be limiting myself to having only one viable way to leave my house, and that's by making a right-hand turn... regardless of the destination.
Oh well.
Which reminds me... it's been 5 weeks since I ordered that catback. Tick tock

Lol

That was supposed to be speedBumps and speedHumps. The bumps are okay now, even at speed. These damn humps though, brutal.
This week, I accidentally ordered the wrong parts from OrderInfinitiParts.com. I followed the diagram, but the diagram was mislabled. Long story short, I just had two fog trim-rings delivered to the house.
So, do I send them back for my $39 refund? Or do I keep them, and paint one pair gloss black metallic, to match the upper grille center-slats? Then I would have two pairs: OEM chrome, and gloss black. And I could switch them on-again/off-again whenever I'm in the mood to tweak the front appearance, if only a little bit.
Definitely a First World problem.
I'm not proud.
Anyway, here are two pics. At risk of starting another stupid polling thread, I'll just ask you guys. This is how it looks now...

...and this is what it would look like (ish) if the rings were gloss black:

The bodyshop was kind enough to remove the plastidip from mine and spray them flat back after my fender bender

Raised the car a quarter of an inch to see if that improves my drive-ability. I know this sounds silly but it's amazing what a quarter of an inch does to your stance. I miss it already.
I just wanted to point out that the photoshop of the black rings shows the chrome reflection of the chrome rings on your amber gels (unless that's the bumper reflecting). I think to fully appreciate the effect, some electrical tape and about 5 minutes per ring is in order.
My wallet is $40 lighter after getting my annual inspection over lunch. Not surprisingly, my 2.5 year old car with 24k passed.
And of course the tech stalled it pulling it into the bay. I offered to pull it in for him, but instead he just rode the clutch and revved it to 4k
And I called motion lab tuning, a local STI, Evo andv Z/G shop. $40 + fluid to bleed the clutch. Seems reasonable for preventative CSC maintenance
