Being a somewhat crudely made piece of plastic, I suspect a brand new OEM reservoir wouldn't cost all that much, and would look 10X better... because all nice and newly white.
Also, have you ever looked at the cap? It has this Japanese letting all over it. A simple bit of sanding and painting with flat-black plastic paint, and it can look worlds better.
So I'm selling my 2012 G37X. 35k miles, great condition, has bose premium sound / navi / backup sensors/camera, moonroof, etc. Most things other than the sports package, I believe.
I had it listed for $22,500, which I found to be just the average market value for the car. A dealership called me up and negotiated with me for a bit, and now they're prepared to cut me a check for $22,250.
I realize that it's often a con to get a customer into a store so they can further haggle down, but I spoke with the lady at length about this and told her I was absolutely not interested in selling it for a penny less to them, and she assured me that their offer price was legitimate. It's also a very highly rated dealership around here. So, assuming (and I realize this is still a big if) they're true to their word and offer me $22,250 when I bring it in tomorrow, is that a fair price? I thought $22,500 was a reasonable price, but now I'm beginning to wonder if it is since a dealership is jumping at the opportunity to buy it for $22,250. My experience in the past selling it to dealerships is they would always offer a few thousand below fair market value and that was that.

I finally received my valve stem adapter replacements today from Vossen. Getting my one bad wheel fixed tomorrow. Figure I've got another 6 to 8 weeks of pre-snow driving ahead of me, so it would be nice to get the fronts back on.

I'm expecting awesomeness. At the very least, new summer tires > worn out summer tires
Or New York, for that matter.
I usually put my snows on Thanksgiving weekend.
Yeah I know, if Lego lived in FL, that'd be pretty obvious. But doesn't NC get quite cold during winter and reach temperatures around 32 or below ? when I picked up my car and when I was even driving through TN or hell even Smokey Mountain at night, the temperature was really low about 40 degrees, and it was more than 90 degrees in Houston,TX when I picked up my car the day before so that makes it 50 degrees difference, hence the reason I think it gets quite cold over there so I can only imagine winter
It can get cold, but below-freezing temps are the exception, not the rule. Unlike up here, where it can stay below-freezing for months.
I hate winter.
If I lived in NC, I'd have a set of AS tires for winter, and a set of 3-seasons the other seasons. Only because driving on snow tires sucks donkey *****.

In the event it snows, the city shuts down. Its unbelievable. Milk and bread sells out. Schools call off based on forecasts of snow. My car is garaged, in the event it snow actually accumulates I can work from home, or, drive my wifes AWD Acura MDX and drop her off at work.
The mountains get quite different weather patterns than the piedmont area.

I lived in the Cleveland suburbs for 30+ years, my hatred of winter drove me south
so after owning my G for about 5 years now I noticed that my G doesn't beep or make any sound to tell me if either my passenger's or my seat belt isn't buckled. Only the little light in the dash lights up. Is this the norm? i don't mind that it doesn't beep or w/e i just thought it was weird
