Right. Identical truck. One of my friends in the military had the Mazda version as well. Another friend had the small Toyota Tacoma of the time. Loved both of their trucks.

I have also read that the spark plugs can become seized in the cylinders. I had my mechanic replace them years ago when I bought the truck, so it's probably time to look at replacing them again (50K miles later).

You are going to hate me, but it looks similar to before, which I thought also looked good.

There is something to be said for maintaining simplicity and a common platform for a decade (Tacoma did the same). The paint is fragile as hell, but the parts that matter are tough as hell.

When I hear someone say "that design is long in the tooth and the tech outdated", I think, ahhh, reliable.

No, socket, I don't hate you. You’ve been very supportive. And you make a great point how annual eye exams are a good idea as we get old.

The irony is that the paint on the Ranger is in MUCH better shape than the G... and both receive the same level of maintenance and coexist in the same environment. At some point the G will have to be repainted or vinyl wrapped.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

May need to rewrite this with some complete thoughts, punctuation, etc.

I'm slow and still don't get it. Someone explain it to me. Use small words so that I can follow along.

8=B, 0=O, 0=O, 8=B, 5=S. 80085, on a old-school calculator would read

What, on this mudball planet of ours, I wouldn't give for that damn LED to burn the hell out... But, no, every other LED on the damn cluster has to flicker or be problematic.
